The 47 Report

Immigration Enforcement Agenda
In his first week, President Trump has emboldened law enforcement to crack down on illegal aliens, a stark difference compared to the Biden Administration. For example, under former DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Immigration and Customs Enforcement was restricted from using the legally correct term ‘illegal alien’; instead, they were encouraged to use the term ‘newcomers.’ That’s now permanently changed under Trump’s orders.
Trump’s DHS has repealed memos by Mayorkas that restricted considerable ICE enforcement, such as a 2021 memo expanding “protected areas” for illegal aliens to schools, universities, and healthcare facilities. Now, ICE’s guidance rescinds the protected areas. The new policies allow ICE agents greater flexibility to pursue illegals.
As we reported yesterday, Trump’s Pentagon deployed 1,500 troops to the southern border, consisting of 1,000 Army personnel and 500 Marines. Acting Defense Secretary Robert Salesses announced an additional deployment of ground personnel, helicopters with crews, and intelligence analysts to enhance detection and monitoring at the border. Plus, the Pentagon will help with border wall construction.
The Pentagon will also assist deportations with military planes, including the U.S. Air Force C-17s and C-130s, which are scheduled to deport a first round of 5,400 in the coming days. In addition, Biden had airplanes scheduled to bring in 10,000 refugees, but Trump canceled all the flights.
There were large numbers of arrests made this week, including in Illinois, California, Minnesota, New York, Florida, and Maryland. In a 30-hour period, ICE arrested more than 460 illegal aliens with criminal histories of sexual assault, robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, weapons offenses, resisting arrest, and domestic violence. The nationalities of these aliens include Afghanistan, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Senegal, and Venezuela.
ALSO…
No Sanctuaries: Several cities are following Trump’s blueprint for ending the immigration abuse, even in blue states. In Huntington Beach, California, city leaders voted to become a “non-sanctuary” city and ignore the state’s sanctuary laws. The city council approved the resolution on Tuesday night by a unanimous 7-0 vote, titled, “Non-Sanctuary City for Illegal Immigration for the Prevention of Crime.” The move requires police to cooperate with ICE and notify them before releasing illegal aliens from jail.

“Biden Forever”: Fox News’ Bill Melugin shared dramatic footage captured while embedded with ICE’s elite Boston team. The video shows a Haitian gang member with 17 convictions cursing Trump’s name after his arrest, and thanking Joe Biden and Barack Obama for their support of illegal aliens.

We've got a massive immigration crisis, and it’s nice to see Trump acting decisively. However, if I’m speaking with Trump honestly, I’m telling him that every single illegal alien needs to be deported, not just the criminals. They must all go home, no matter their age, without exception. Why? Because whether they are committing crimes or not, they are all siphoning off our resources, taking jobs they don’t deserve, and driving down the quality of life for US citizens.
Look around - crime rates in towns and cities with illegal alien populations are soaring, and so too are the costs of housing, feeding, educating, and caring for these people. These are not isolated incidents that take shape in sanctuary cities only; it’s crushing every city and state.
Our hospitals are overwhelmed, our schools are overcrowded, and our safety nets are stretched thin. This is just as much about economics as it is about national security and preserving our culture. Trump knows this — so he must go full force. The Left is pushing back hard by using the courts and playing violins in an attempt to pull on the heart strings of the American people. We cannot get soft; no more excuses, no more delays. Trump must remain tough on this subject, otherwise we will all watch America decline.
REACTIONS
Loving the videos coming out showing the arrests of illegal aliens. Let’s keep them coming!
Maybe we should have an official tally counter of how many illegals are arrested/deported? Like the liberals did with counting COVID cases?

MORE ON TRUMP

Files Release: Trump announced the declassification of remaining files related to the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King Jr., signing an executive order at the White House.
DOJ Pause: The Justice Department has directed the civil rights division to pause most investigative actions from the Biden era and avoid pursuing new cases, indictments, or settlements. Kathleen Wolfe, appointed by Trump to oversee the division, was instructed to prevent attorneys from filing new complaints or legal briefs.
Americans First: Western N. Carolina residents who have been sitting in FEMA hotels and living in tents for months since Hurricane Helene destroyed their homes, are now being moved into long term, fully furnished apartments.
Transgender Move: In an EO, Trump moved to end gender-related medical treatments for trans people in prison. Plus, he ordered federal prisons to house inmates who are trans women in men’s facilities.
Speaking of The WEF: Trump, via videolink, addressed the controversial World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, on Thursday. During his speech before the crowd of elitists, Trump critiqued European regulations and oil prices, advocating for America's manufacturing and AI dominance. He warned the crowd that companies not producing in America would face tariffs, reinforcing his America-first policies in direct opposition to the globalist tendencies of the WEF. He also took the opportunity to directly call out Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan in the crowd, addressing reports of the bank discriminating its services by shunning conservatives. Lastly, Trump announced that efforts to secure a Russia-Ukraine peace deal are “hopefully underway” and expressed a desire to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin soon.
PASSPORTS: Trump has signed an executive order limiting gender recognition to 'Male' or 'Female' in federal policy, effective immediately on passport applications. This policy removes the 'X' gender marker option for non-binary individuals, impacting how transgender, intersex, and non-binary people can express their gender identity on official documents.
FBI and DHS Raid Immigration Lawyer: Federal authorities, including the FBI and Homeland Security, raided the office of Joseph Molina Flynn, a prominent immigration attorney and former Municipal Court Judge in Providence, Rhode Island. Flynn, known for his work with immigrants, is under investigation.
Department of Education Puts Out First Tweet: The DofED said Thursday evening that it is taking action to eliminate DEI initiatives. This is the first step in reorienting the agency toward prioritizing meaningful learning and implementing Trump’s vision to reform education.
PARDONED: Trump signed pardons on Thursday for 23 anti-abortion protesters who were convicted of illegally blockading a reproductive clinic in Washington, D.C.
THE CRAZY LEFT
Omar’s Nonsense: Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) has fiercely criticized Trump’s executive actions to secure the border and curb illegal immigration. Omar, a Somali refugee and radical leftist, reintroduced a bill to repeal a 1798 immigration law signed by John Adams, calling the Founding Father’s signed law “un-American.” She also accused Trump’s immigration orders of being illegal and unconstitutional.
Hillary & Kamala: Fox News reports that former VP Harris is reportedly asking Hillary Clinton for advice on what to do after losing to Trump.
Radical Judge: A federal judge in Seattle, Senior Judge John Coughenour, temporarily blocked President Trump’s effort to end birthright citizenship for illegal alien parents. He criticized the executive order while issuing a nationwide restraining order, claiming Trump’s EO is a “blatantly unconstitutional order.”
A Reagan appointed judge just put a stop to Trumps EO to end Birthright Citizenship for illegals. Reagan granted amnesty, so no shock there. What person or judge would be so delusional to think the Founding Fathers wanted to give citizenship to a migrant baby. Asinine.

DEFIANT & WOKE: Trump authorized ICE to operate at schools. The DOJ also said they will go after officials who get in the way of immigration agents. Well, the President of Portland State University says campus security won't enforce immigration law and won't allow immigrant enforcement actions on campus. Let’s see what happens.
REVOKED: Former CIA Director John Brennan accused Trump of "misrepresenting the facts" about the Hunter Biden laptop story after Trump revoked his security clearance, along with those of 50 other former intel officials who signed a 2020 letter suggesting the laptop emails had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”
J.D. VANCE

My kids are settling in to the Vice President's official residence, and I just want to say: thank you to the American people.
While we don't own this property, it is a beautiful home for our three little kids. We are grateful, and will take good care of it.

Thankful Vance: VP Vance expressed his gratitude in an X post upon moving into his new residence located at Number One Observatory Circle in Washington, D.C. This residence, built in 1893 on the grounds of the United States Naval Observatory, was initially intended for the observatory's superintendent but has been the official home of the U.S. Vice President since 1974 when Congress declared it as such.
CONGRESS:
CONFIRMED: The Senate confirmed John Ratcliffe as Trump’s CIA director, making him the second member of the 47th president’s new Cabinet. The confirmation vote was 74-25.
A THIRD TERM: Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) introduced a resolution to amend the 22nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which would allow Trump to seek a third term in office.
PETE MOVES CLOSER: Department of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth advanced toward a final Senate vote after a 51-49 cloture motion passed — Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) opposed advancing the nomination. Joining her was Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, another left-leaning Republican. A potential deciding vote will be Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. If McConnell votes "no," VP Vance may need to break a tie to secure Hegseth's confirmation.
