47 Report: Day 11
MAKE AMERICA HEALTHY AGAIN
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. faced his first Senate confirmation hearing as nominee for Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary before the Senate Finance Committee.
Kennedy used his opening statement to emphasize his mission, stating he prays to God for the health of America every morning. But his comments did not make an impact on the Democrats dead set on spoiling his nomination. From the start, the session was marked by contentious exchanges, particularly when Democratic Senators Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders grilled him on his controversial past statements demonizing vaccines. The questioning of RFK Jr. was simply ridiculous. For example, Warren asked Kennedy —Big Pharma’s biggest enemy — if he’ll commit to not taking money from vaccine makers; Kennedy laughed and assured Warren drugmakers wouldn’t WANT to give him money.
Despite the Democrat’s shenanigans, RFK Jr. addressed his desire to end the chronic disease epidemic plaguing the nation, to promote healthy eating, to advocate for physical activity, and to safeguard children's health from vulturous drug companies. Kennedy argued that his role would be prioritizing long-term wellness over short-term profits. Kennedy also assured that his focus would be unity for health improvement, aiming to transcend political divides and fix a nationwide, bipartisan epidemic.
He also humorously promised not to remove McDonald’s cheeseburgers and Diet Coke from Trump. As for Kennedy’s next hearing, it will be with the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee later today before he is voted on.
ALSO…
Trump signed the Laken Riley Act into law, marking his administration's first legislative action to detain and deport illegal aliens accused of theft or violent crimes before conviction. The law is named after the Georgia nursing student killed by an illegal alien a year ago; her parents stood with Trump during the law’s signing.
Trump announced an executive order to use Guantanamo Bay to imprison up to 30,000 illegal aliens, aiming to double detention capacity and detain those considered the "worst of criminal illegal aliens.”
Last night, tragedy struck in D.C. when an American Airlines commercial plane with 60 passengers struck a Black Hawk military helicopter near Reagan Washington National Airport. We will have more updates on the cause of the collision and casualty report on today’s podcast, though it’s been confirmed the plane was arriving from Wichita, Kansas.
DML OPINION |
I think the best way for me to provide an opinion is by sharing a post I made on X last night (see below). In short, the Democrats are making themselves look like heartless idiots when they rip into RFK Jr. He is a beacon of health, and he wants to help us all by eliminating dangerous vaccines and harmful foods. The liberals are so out of touch with everything these days. Anyone who votes for these people should be ashamed of themselves. More importantly, I’d love to see an investigative reporter dig into the donation money given to Democrats by Big Pharma.
I am also requesting prayers this morning to all the families impacted by the aircraft collision in D.C. last night. The coming days following this will be difficult; American families who lost loved ones will need support more than ever.
REACTIONS on X:
I will dedicate my time to defeating Senators that do not confirm RFK Jr.,
even those that are Republican.
May I remind you that our work helped to defeat Bob Casey in PA.
I’ll even take it a step further & work to defeat Ranked Choice Voting in Alaska.
Try me.

Very sad to see Dems ridicule RFK Jr today for wanting to protect babies from dangerous vaccines. When Sanders posted baby clothing, it was as bad as when Biden touted being a great grandpa during the LA fires.

Zuckerberg Folds: Meta will pay about $25 million to settle Trump’s 2021 lawsuit over his account suspension from Facebook after the Jan. 6 protest. Of that, $22 million will fund his presidential library, with the rest covering legal fees and co-plaintiffs.
Adams Case: Senior Trump DOJ officials have discussed dropping the Manhattan corruption case against NYC Mayor Eric Adams. Trump could also pardon Adams, who could lend more support for his mass deportation plans.
Revoking Venezuelans: DHS Secretary Kristin Noem has revoked deportation protections for roughly 600,000 Venezuelans, reversing an extension granted under the Biden administration. The order ends the Temporary Protected Status Biden had extended before Trump’s inauguration, which shielded Venezuelans from deportation.
→→→RESISTANCE: A magistrate judge ordered the release of Venezuelan national Edward Martinez-Cermeno after his arrest in an ICE operation, claiming officials lacked the legal paperwork to detain him. He was arrested for illegal U.S. entry in 2023 and later for felony retail theft in Chicago.
Captured Chinese: Florida police stopped two vans carrying 26 Chinese migrants in Coral Gables and arrested two smugglers. The vans were transporting both men and women; it’s believed they arrived by boat. This follows a similar January 17 incident in the same area, where over 30 Chinese migrants were found in a U-Haul truck.
FROM ICE: As of Jan. 29, 2025, 1,016 Arrests; 814 Detainers Lodged.
→→→ARREST DETAILS: Afghan national \ Octavio Bonilla | Juan Chang |
FROM DOGE: USAID has canceled $45 million in U.S.-funded DEI scholarships allocated to Burma.
Request to Musk: Elon Musk revealed that President Trump has tasked SpaceX with bringing home the stranded astronauts on Boeing’s Starliner. Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams have been stuck in space since June.
Protecting Students, Pt. 1: Trump’s Education Department is investigating Ithaca City School District (NY) for alleged discrimination against white students.
Protecting Students, Pt. 2: Oklahoma’s State Board of Education approved a rule requiring parents to prove their child’s U.S. citizenship or legal status for public school enrollment.
THE CRAZY LEFT
Miller vs. Tapper: During a heated exchange on CNN, Jake Tapper questioned Trump’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Stephen Miller, about the negative impact of deporting illegal aliens who pick crops. Miller countered by schooling Tapper, stating that only 1% of the migrant workers in the U.S. work in agriculture — emphasizing that the majority of illegals live in cities, not on farms.
Inspector Meltdown: USDA Inspector General Phyllis Fong refused to comply with her firing by the Trump administration. A 22-year department employee, she contested the dismissal, citing improper protocol. She was removed by security anyway.
Menendez’s Sentencing: Former Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) was sentenced to 11 years in prison for federal corruption charges. Outside the courtroom, he said: "Trump was right; This process is political, and it's corrupted to the core. I hope President Trump cleans up the cesspool and restores the integrity to the system."
Emhoff’s Hired: Doug Emhoff joined the law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP as a partner shortly after leaving D.C. following Kamala Harris’ failed presidential bid.
DEIs Fired: President Trump fired two of three Democratic EEOC commissioners as part of his effort to remove DEI from government agencies.
J.D. VANCE
Please say a prayer for everyone involved in the mid-air collision near Reagan airport this evening. We're monitoring the situation, but for now let's hope for the best.

Condolences from the VP: Vice President Vance posted to X about the aircraft collision over the Potomac, requesting prayers as the tragic event develops. Vance had facilitated the swearing-in of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy earlier in the day before the incident.
CONGRESS
Paul’s No: Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) announced he will oppose Trump’s Labor secretary nominee, Lori Chavez-DeRemer, predicting she will lose 15 Republican votes but gain support from 25 Democrats. His reasoning is shared by other Republican lawmakers who believe Chavez-DeRemer is the wrong choice.
Bondi Advances: The Senate Judiciary Committee voted 12–10 along party lines to advance Pam Bondi’s nomination as Trump’s pick for Attorney General, moving her closer to confirmation. The full Senate is expected to vote next week.
CONFIRMED: The Senate confirmed former Rep. Lee Zeldin as Trump’s EPA administrator in a 56-42 vote.
Upcoming Confirmation Hearings:
Kash Patel for FBI Director: A hearing is set for today (1/30) at 9:30 AM.
Tulsi Gabbard for Director of National Intelligence: Her hearing is scheduled for today (1/30) at 10:00 AM.
