Today’s Big Story…

In part two of his interview with Fox News' Bret Baier, DOGE leader Elon Musk voiced concerns about the future, warning that declining birth rates—particularly in the U.S. and Korea—pose an existential threat.

“Humanity is dying,” Musk said, adding that unless trends change, “civilization will disappear.”

Musk then issued the following warning to Baier about America’s future: “I worry generally about the strength of America. America is the central column that holds up all of Western civilization… If that column fails, it’s all over. You can’t run off to New Zealand or some other place. It’s over. So either we strengthen that column and make sure America is strong, and we’ll be strong for a long time, or that roof’s coming down.”

Musk also admitted that despite facing false accusations and criticism from the left and radical liberals, President Trump has endured even worse.

Another Big Story…

Failed 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton slammed the Trump administration as “careless” and “dumb” in a fiery New York Times essay, criticizing its Signal chat leak and broader policies during its short time in office.

Clinton wrote: “It’s not the hypocrisy that bothers me; it’s the stupidity. We’re all shocked — shocked! — that President Trump and his team don’t actually care about protecting classified information or federal record retention laws. But we knew that already. What’s much worse is that top Trump administration officials put our troops in jeopardy by sharing military plans on a commercial messaging app and unwittingly invited a journalist into the chat. That’s dangerous. And it’s just dumb.”

In her essay, Clinton claimed the Trump administration has a pattern of reckless decisions that weaken national security—from firing nuclear safety officials to ending pandemic response efforts during an Ebola outbreak. She contrasted Trump’s approach as “dumb power” with her record as Secretary of State, promoting “smart power” that blends military strength with diplomacy and development. Clinton also accused Trump of damaging alliances and undermining America’s global standing and economy. And, yet again, Clinton accused Trump of being a puppet to Russia’s Vladimir Putin.

My Thoughts…

Elon’s warning is a generational, dire one. Americans must assess how population decline will impact the country unless younger generations begin having more children. Hopefully, under the Trump administration, the culture of the nuclear family can be heavily promoted and elevated in tandem with tampering inflation, making it more affordable to have multiple children. Let’s bring back large American families!

As for Hillary, of all people to label criticisms over Signalgate… it’s downright laughable. NYT should’ve tossed her op-ed into the shredder. Or delete it like she did 30,000+ emails.

The Administration…

  • Elon Musk also blamed rising violence against Tesla owners on left-wing rhetoric, saying that propaganda—not just the attackers—is at fault.

  • President Trump called his first conversation with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney “extremely productive,” despite Carney’s earlier remark that the “old relationship” with the U.S. is over and his push to renegotiate a trade deal.

  • During the Oval Office press conference yesterday, President Trump was asked to define “what is a woman” and why it matters. He replied, “A woman is somebody that can have a baby, under certain circumstances… and is much smarter than a man, I’ve always found,” sparking laughter in the room.

  • Trump also announced that he has chosen Fox News contributor Sara Carter to serve as the next “Drug Czar.”

  • The Interior Department announced that oil and gas lease sales on public land generated nearly $40 million in federal revenue during the first quarter of 2025.

  • HHS head Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has warned California's health agency over using federal funds to teach 10-year-olds about sex toys and role-playing in schools. HHS slammed the $5.8 million PREP-funded curriculum as neither age-appropriate nor medically accurate, demanding all materials be submitted for federal review by April 1 or risk losing funding.

  • HHS's Office for Civil Rights referred Maine to the Justice Department for defying President Trump’s order banning trans athletes from female sports. The state had 10 days to comply but failed to reach an agreement.

  • DNI Tulsi Gabbard officially revoked security clearances for Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, and others, following a memo from President Trump declaring it “no longer in the national interest” for them to access classified information.

  • Comedian Bill Maher told Chris Cuomo he’s attending a private dinner with Trump, arranged by Kid Rock, as a gesture toward “healing America.” Though a vocal Trump critic, Maher said that while he doubts he can unite the country, the effort is still worth making.

  • Auto Workers for Trump founder Brian Pannebecker says autoworkers feel Trump is keeping his promise to revive U.S. manufacturing. Trump announced a hike in auto import tariffs from 2.5% to 25%, set to take effect April 2.

Vice President…

JD Vance, visiting Pituffik Space Base in Greenland, said the Trump administration doesn't believe military force will be needed there. Joined by officials, including his wife Usha and Sen. Mike Lee, Vance criticized Denmark’s management of the island as Trump renewed his push to acquire the territory

Congress…

Republican senators are urging the Trump administration to preserve Signal app chats among senior officials discussing a military strike on Houthi rebels, citing concerns over classified information and compliance with the Federal Records Act. Sen. Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) and Sen. Jack Reed (D-R.I.) are drafting a letter demanding all related records be saved.

Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) fired back at Elon Musk in their public feud, accusing the senior Trump adviser of siding with billionaires after Musk claimed Kelly prioritized foreign interests over the U.S.

Over 30 Democratic lawmakers are demanding answers from DHS and ICE after Tufts student Rumeysa Ozturk, a pro-Palestinian supporter, was arrested by six masked agents.

Rep. Kat Cammack (R-Fla.) said she hopes Trump will “elevate” Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) after the 2026 midterms, following news that he withdrew her U.N. ambassador nomination to keep her in the House.

The Resistance…

  1. Leftist Judge James Boasberg extended a restraining order on the Alien Enemies Act—used by the Trump administration to deport Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang members—through April 12. In a separate case, a Boston judge blocked migrant deportations to countries where they have no ties.

  2. Democrats began quietly planning for the possibility of President Biden dying in office or stepping aside as the 2024 nominee over a year before Election Day, according to an upcoming book.

  3. The group that released Hunter Biden’s laptop contents, Marco Polo, filed a motion seeking nearly $93,000 in legal fees after a federal lawsuit from Biden was dismissed. The nonprofit is led by former Trump aide Garrett Ziegler.

  4. Liberals are lashing out at Elon Musk for planning to open a 24-hour Tesla diner and drive-in theater charging station in Hollywood. Critics even targeted a restaurant owner who called the idea “exciting.”

  5. Progressive Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, a leading Democratic contender for New Jersey governor, was caught on video applauding and embracing Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan as he called White people “demons” and urged violent retribution.

  6. Federal tax expert Adam Brewer warned that a proposed IRS-ICE data-sharing deal could discourage illegal aliens from filing taxes, putting them “between a rock and a hard place.” The agreement would let ICE submit names to cross-check and return address info for the IRS. Some IRS veterans are pushing back, saying it violates the agency’s long-standing promise to protect taxpayer confidentiality in exchange for compliance.

  7. A conservative student at the University of Texas, Dallas was allegedly attacked by a trans student with a bike lock, disturbing video shows.

Your Opinions & Questions…

Barb: I love the 47 Report! It’s my “go to news brief” every single morning. I live in Wisconsin and I’m glad you pointed out how crucial it is for Wisconsin residents to go vote for Schimel. I’m not sure I trust our election polls here, especially in the corrupt Dane and Milwaukee counties. I voted early just to make sure my vote counted, if there’s any shenanigans on Election Day.

47 Report: Thank you Barb! I’m hopeful that with enough word-of-mouth and action, the outcome of the Wisconsin Supreme Court will hopefully sway in our favor. Elon Musk and other Trump allies are doing their best to bring attention to its importance. Hopefully, Wisconsinites will get out there next week and get Schimel voted in!
