The radical judge crippling Trump's agenda... AGAIN

Today’s Big Story…

A new lawsuit against the Trump administration over leaked Pentagon plans in a Signal chat has been assigned to Judge James Boasberg — the same radical judge who previously blocked the administration’s deportation efforts of Venezuelan illegal aliens, some with cartel affiliations.

Filed by watchdog group American Oversight, the suit accuses Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and others of violating federal records laws by discussing Houthi attack plans in the encrypted chat. Others listed as defendants along with Hegseth include DNI Tulsi Gabbard, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and the National Archives.

American Oversight claims they violated the Federal Records Act, which mandates preserving official communications. They also raised concerns that messages in the Signal chat may be illegally deleted due to auto-delete settings. The lawsuit will now be presided over by Boasberg, an Obama appointee deadset on hindering Trump’s agenda.

Trump responded to the news shortly after midnight. On Truth Social, he wrote:
“How disgraceful is it that “Judge” James Boasberg has just been given a fourth “Trump Case,” something which is, statistically, IMPOSSIBLE. There is no way for a Republican, especially a TRUMP, to win before him. He is Highly Conflicted, not only in his hatred of me — Massive Trump Derangement Syndrome! — but also, because of disqualifying family conflicts. Boasberg, who is the Chief Judge of the D.C. District Court, seems to be grabbing the “Trump Cases” all to himself, even though it is not supposed to happen that way. Is there still such a thing as the “wheel,” where the Judges are chosen fairly, and at random? The good news is it probably doesn’t matter, because it is virtually inconceivable for me to get an Honest Ruling in D.C. Our Courts are broken in many parts of our Country, with New York and D.C. being the most preeminent of all in their Corruption and Radicalism. There must be an immediate investigation of this Rigged System before it is too late!”

Another Big Story…

The culprit behind the Signalgate fiasco seems to point to Alex Wong, who serves as the Deputy National Security Advisor under Mike Waltz. Wong was born in 1980, reportedly in the U.S. His parents immigrated to the U.S. from Guangdong, China.

Wong had served during Trump’s first term as the Deputy Special Representative for North Korea. He was reportedly instrumental in negotiating the summit between Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. However, Wong also worked for Covington & Burling, one of the law firms President Trump recently stripped of its security clearance and terminated all of their government contracts.

According to various posts on X, allegedly Wong is married to U.S. Attorney Candice Chiu Wong, a Chinese-American woman who was one of the key attorneys involved in prosecuting January 6thers. She also worked under the Obama administration and served as a law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Sonia M. Sotomayor.

ALSO: Private contact details of top Trump security officials—including phone numbers, emails, and passwords—have been revealed to be publicly accessible online. Using people search tools and leaked data, reporters found active contact info for officials like Waltz, Gabbard, and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. Many details are tied to social media, Dropbox, fitness apps, WhatsApp, and Signal accounts, exposing a serious and previously unknown security breach at the highest levels of U.S. government.

My Thoughts…

This is a very difficult time for the Trump administration. Although no American lives were lost, as I explained on the DML REPORT yesterday, the media is going to run with this story for a long time. The best thing Trump can do to redirect the energy, is to make a major announcement about something totally unrelated — maybe AG Pam Bondi can open an investigation into a big-name Democrat — Lord knows they have given her plenty to go after. Either way, the Trump White House must change the media’s narrative.

Additionally, TRUMP MUST GET RID OF Alex Wong — he should be FIRED. An individual like this should not be near the Trump administration. While I would love to praise the competency of Trump’s team, this latest privacy breach only fuels the fire of controversy. They need to start getting their information and communication airtight and secure. Because truthfully, this will begin to become embarrassing.

The Administration…

  • President Trump announced a new 25% tariff on all cars not made in the U.S., effective April 2, with fee collection starting April 3. Vehicles built in the U.S. by foreign companies will be exempt.

  • President Trump said in a middle-of-the-night social media post early Thursday that he’d retaliate if the EU and Canada banded together to “do economic harm” to America. He wrote, “If the European Union works with Canada in order to do economic harm to the USA, large scale Tariffs, far larger than currently planned, will be placed on them both in order to protect the best friend that each of those two countries has ever had!”

  • Egg prices in the U.S. have dropped about 59% since late February 2025, a decline many credited to President Trump’s economic policies.

  • The CDC is reclaiming $11.4 billion in unused pandemic funds previously allocated to health departments, NGOs, and international groups. HHS said the COVID-19 pandemic is over, and taxpayer money will no longer be spent on a crisis “Americans moved on from years ago.”

  • DOGE announced it had canceled 113 contracts worth $4.7 billion, including a USDA consulting deal for climate work in Peru.

  • The U.S. Department of Justice has opened a civil rights investigation into the Rhode Island Department of Education over a student loan forgiveness program, examining whether it discriminates against White teachers.

  • Four U.S. Army soldiers were killed in a training accident in Lithuania, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte confirmed. Details remain limited, but a U.S. official confirmed it was a training-related incident.

  • President Trump humorously commented on a reporter's choice to wear a mask while taking questions in the Oval Office, noting the rarity of mask-wearers post-COVID.

  • During a live interview on CNN, VA Secretary Doug Collins engaged in a tense exchange with anchor Kaitlan Collins, shredding the liberal reporter for CNN’s mistreatment of veterans in their coverage.

  • Planned visits to Greenland’s capital, Nuuk, and a dog sledding race have been scrapped in favor of a shorter trip touring U.S. military installations on the island. VP Vance and Second Lady Usha reworked their plans following local backlash and the Signalgate scandal.

  • Elon Musk is offering cash incentives for people to sign a petition against radical judges. He wrote on X: “Exciting to announce our first million dollar award for supporting our petition against activist judges in Wisconsin! Next million dollar award will be announced in 2 days.”

  • Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem toured El Salvador’s high-security Terrorism Confinement Center, where hundreds of criminal illegal aliens recently deported by the Trump administration are held. Her three-day trip also includes stops in Colombia and Mexico. Video footage showed her facing Tren de Aragua gang members in prison.

Vice President…

JD Vance visited Marines at Quantico and declared an end to military DEI quotas. After speaking to troops, he served lunch and tested weapons at the range, including an M27, M107, M240B, an inert Howitzer, and a drone.

Congress…

The House Intelligence Committee hosted testimonies by FBI Director Kash Patel, CIA Director John Ratcliffe and National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard yesterday, where more questions were asked regarding Signalgate.

Along with Dr. Jay Bhattacharya as NIH director, Dr. Marty Makary was confirmed by the Senate to be FDA commissioner in a 56-44 vote.

Texas Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett dismissed concerns over transgender athletes in women’s sports as a “distraction,” arguing they cause no harm. She urged Democrats to stay united in supporting trans athlete inclusion.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) told a Sky News reporter to “go back to your country” after being asked about the Signal chat controversy. Dismissing the U.K. journalist's questions, Greene criticized her for not focusing on migrant-related issues in her own country, saying, “What about all the women raped by migrants—do you care?”

The Resistance…

  1. The Atlantic published more Signal chat messages among national security officials. The release includes new details not in the original article, such as the airstrike’s timeline and weapons.

  2. Democrats regained control of the Pennsylvania House after Dan Goughnor, a police officer, won a special election southeast of Pittsburgh in a 63-35 landslide over Republican fire chief Charles Davis. They also appear poised to flip a GOP-held state Senate seat in another special election across the state.

  3. Muslim Americans in Public Service (MAPS), a D.C.-based nonprofit, partners with federal agencies to help Muslims enter and advance in government. It works with groups like CAIR, the U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations, ICNA, and Helping Hand—organizations with past ties to terrorist groups.

  4. A federal judge denied the Trump administration's attempt to enforce a ban on transgender military enlistment, which was set to begin Friday. U.S. District Judge Ana Reyes, a Biden appointee, upheld her previous order blocking the policy. The DOJ has filed an appeal with the D.C. Circuit Court.

  5. A Biden-appointed judge blocked part of an Iowa law requiring schools to remove books with sexual content and banning instruction on gender identity and sexual orientation. U.S. District Judge Stephen Locher ruled the law lacked constitutional grounds for imposing content-based restrictions.

  6. Three federal judges in California ruled that President Trump must accept about 40,000 refugees approved under the Biden administration. Meanwhile, a Seattle judge ordered the administration to continue funding agencies resettling those refugees in U.S. communities, including Springfield, Ohio.

  7. A U.S. appeals court upheld a temporary block on the Trump administration’s deportation of certain Venezuelan illegal aliens under the 1798 Alien Enemies Act. The D.C. Circuit Court’s 2-1 decision is a setback for Trump, who argued the block, issued by Judge James Boasberg, infringed on presidential authority.
