Day 62
Trump takes action, revokes clearance Clinton, Biden and others
Today’s Big Story…
President Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced that Boeing has been awarded the Pentagon's $20 billion contract to build the next-generation fighter jet. The F-47 fighter jet will replace Lockheed Martin’s F-22 Raptor and operate alongside drones. Part of the Next Generation Air Dominance program, the F-47—named in Trump’s honor—marks a winner-take-all deal worth hundreds of billions over its lifetime.
Another Big Story…
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has pledged a 10-year, $1.4 trillion investment in the U.S., exponentially expanding its backing of American AI, semiconductors, energy, and manufacturing. The White House announced the UAE had committed to the investment deal after President Trump hosted Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed and the top Emirati corporate leaders in the Oval Office. As part of the framework, UAE’s ADQ and U.S. firm Energy Capital Partners launched a $25 billion plan for energy infrastructure and data centers.
State-owned XRG, part of Abu Dhabi’s ADNOC, committed to boosting U.S. natural gas production and exports, with further plans to invest in gas, chemicals, energy infrastructure, and low-carbon solutions. Emirates Global Aluminum will also build a new U.S. smelter, nearly doubling domestic aluminum output. Following their visit, Trump said on Truth Social the talks focused on deepening economic cooperation.
My Thoughts…
Trump is making deals, making new products, and making America great again despite the resistance of judges and Democrats who would prefer the U.S. lose its exceptionalism. Trump is a unique person for sure, anyone else would have quit by now. But he knows that winners never quit, and quitters never win. Amen.

The Administration…
Trump and Hegseth strongly strongly denied a New York Times report claiming Elon Musk would be briefed on potential U.S. war plans with China.
Trump revoked security clearances and classified access for Antony Blinken, Jacob Sullivan, Lisa Monaco, Mark Zaid, Norman Eisen, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, Andrew Weissmann, Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Cheney, Kamala Harris, Adam Kinzinger, Fiona Hill, Alexander Vindman, Joe Biden and any other member of Joe Biden’s family.
Trump revoked the legal status of approximately 530,000 individuals from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela, who were previously protected under a Biden-era parole program.
Trump announced that with the Dep. of Ed being dismantled, the Small Business Administration will take over federal student loan programs, and the Dep. of Health and Human Services will manage programs for children with disabilities and special needs and all nutrition programs.
The Trump administration has intensified its immigration enforcement, expanding its focus to include not only illegal aliens but also certain legal immigrants. U.S. border officials are employing aggressive tactics at ports of entry, scrutinizing green card and visa holders before entry.
Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons announced that nearly 400 members of the Tren de Aragua terrorist group have been arrested since President Trump took office, including 68 in the past 48 hours.
Columbia University has agreed to Trump’s conditions to regain $400 million in revoked federal funding. The deal includes banning masks, expanding arrest powers for 36 campus police officers, and appointing a senior vice provost to oversee the Middle East, South Asian, and African Studies Department and the Center for Palestine Studies.
Johnson & Johnson announced it will invest $55 billion in U.S. manufacturing, research, and tech over the next four years—part of nearly $1 trillion in corporate pledges supporting Trump’s push to boost domestic production.
Former FBI agent Johnathan Buma, who once claimed Rudy Giuliani may have been “compromised” by Russia, was arrested at JFK Airport by FBI agents while trying to board an international flight. Court records say he’s charged with illegally disclosing confidential information under 18 U.S. Code §1905.
President Trump announced that he will personally cover the overtime pay for astronauts Barry "Butch" Wilmore and Sunita "Suni" Williams, who returned to Earth after a nine-month space mission initially planned for just eight days.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said his state was returning more than $878 million to the federal government that it had been attempting to give back for the past few years during the Biden administration. The governor said the move came after a meeting with billionaire Elon Musk. "For years, Florida has been trying to return federal funds to the federal government due to the ideological strings attached by the Biden Administration—but they couldn't even figure out how to accept it," DeSantis wrote Friday on X.
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, has announced plans to sue former U.S. Representative Jamaal Bowman for defamation after Bowman referred to him as an 'incompetent thief' and a 'Nazi' during a CNN broadcast.

Vice President…
JD Vance called out the criminals vandalizing and terrorizing Tesla cars, dealerships, and customers. Vance labeled the agitators as ‘terrorists’ and affirmed they will be brought to justice. This follows Attorney General Pam Bondi charging anarchists who have been identified in incidents.
Congress…
Protesters disrupted a private luncheon in a red New York district, targeting Rep. Mike Lawler (R-N.Y.) over GOP spending cuts. The clash, sparked by the Trump administration's cost-cutting efforts, turned physical and raised concerns among Republicans about Democrats organizing protests in GOP districts.
A 2028 Senate challenge by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez against Sen. Chuck Schumer could severely damage the Democratic Party, according to former Clinton pollster Mark Penn. Citing a CNN poll showing party favorability at a record-low 29%, Penn said Democrats are keeping their far-left base but rapidly losing moderates.
Cortney Merritts, husband of former Rep. Cori Bush, has been charged with two counts of wire fraud for allegedly defrauding the government of $20,000 in pandemic-era SBA loans by falsifying business information.

Rep. Carlos Giménez (R-FL) announced he sent a letter to DHS Secretary Kristi Noem urging the immediate investigation and deportation of alleged Cuban regime officials living in the U.S.
The Resistance…
Joe and Jill Biden are trying to reassert themselves in Democratic leadership, but party leaders are largely uninterested. Biden has privately offered to fundraise and campaign to help Democrats push back against Trump-era rollbacks.
Federal Judge James Boasberg sharply questioned Trump administration lawyers over the deportation of Venezuelan nationals to El Salvador, defying a court order that blocked the move. He pressed officials on why they used the 1798 Alien Enemies Act despite the temporary 14-day ban.
Around 25,000 probationary federal workers reinstated by court order are now in limbo, placed on administrative leave as agencies brace for new cuts under President Trump.
Former MSNBC host Joy Reid appeared on Don Lemon’s podcast, claiming Canada would defeat the U.S. in a hypothetical war.
Liberal comedian Bill Maher revealed he’ll soon meet President Trump at the White House, accepting Kid Rock’s offer to arrange the introduction.

Williams was found dead in a wooded area, and Rivas-Sagastume had an outstanding deportation order since July 2023.
