Today’s Big Story…

President Trump's letter to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei set a two-month deadline for a new nuclear deal. If Iran refuses, the risk of U.S. or Israeli military action rises significantly.

Sources say the letter was stern, offering nuclear deal talks while warning of consequences if Iran refuses and advances its program. Iran's nuclear program has progressed noticeably since the Obama years, bringing it closer to weapon capability. The International Atomic Energy Agency reports Iran's 60% enriched uranium stockpile could yield six bombs if refined to 90%, though Tehran denies accusations of the militant country’s pursuit of nuclear weaponry.

Another Big Story…

In its first 60 days, the Trump administration has targeted waste, fraud, and illegal immigration, but their actions continue to be hindered by legal challenges from Democrats and leftist judges, prompting Republicans to call for judicial impeachments.

Judges on the House Republicans’ list for impeachment include James Boasberg, John Bates, and Amir Ali of D.C.; Adam Abelson and Theordore Chuang of Maryland; Paul Engelmayer of New York, and John McConnell Jr. of Rhode Island.

However, some are pointing out this could have been avoidable. In response to Rep. Chip Roy’s tweet about stirring talks on impeaching the judges, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis wrote: “Congress has the authority to strip jurisdiction of the federal courts to decide these cases in the first place. The sabotaging of President Trump’s agenda by “resistance” judges was predictable — why no jurisdiction-stripping bills tee’d up at the onset of this Congress?”

ALSO: Trump is not happy with the Fed. He demanded the Federal Reserve 'do the right thing' and cut interest rates after Chair Jerome Powell said they were going to hold steady. The president believes lower rates will help ease the transition to his tariffs against Canada and Mexico. Retaliatory tariffs are coming from the United States on April 2. Trump criticized Powell and the Federal Reserve in a post to Truth Social on Wednesday night, writing, “'The Fed would be MUCH better off CUTTING RATES as U.S. Tariffs start to transition (ease!) their way into the economy. Do the right thing. April 2nd is Liberation Day in America!!!'“

My Thoughts…

Iran keeps me up at night. It’s been like that for years. And now, the judges keep me up at night as well. I am shocked that a liberal Obama-appointed judge has not ruled agains Trump, demanding that he take back the letter he sent to Iran. The day is young, who knows, maybe it will still happen. These judges are destroying America, and so I feel like they would love to see Iran blow us up. Lord knows if the judges don’t kill us off, they’ll make sure somebody does. As for the Fed, I wrote is on Facebook yesterday, I knew they would leave rate unchanged — making it harder for Trump to grow the economy. It is all one big scam.

The Administration…

  • President Trump, continuing efforts for a Russia-Ukraine peace deal, announced yesterday he spoke with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy for an hour, following a nearly three-hour call with Vladimir Putin the day before.

  • During that phone call, Trump agreed in principle to Putin’s proposal for a U.S.-Russia hockey series. According to the Russian government, the teams would be drawn from the NHL and Russia’s Kontinental Hockey League.

  • Reports indicate that Trump will immediately abolish the Department of Education via executive order, fulfilling a campaign promise. He argues the agency is run by “radicals, zealots, and Marxists” and has failed students.

  • President Trump fired both Democratic FTC commissioners, Alvaro Bedoya and Rebecca Kelly Slaughter, sparking a legal battle over the agency’s independence. Both vowed to challenge their dismissals in court.

  • Trump slammed Fox News reporter Jacqui Heinrich on Truth Social, criticizing her without specifics. His remarks followed backlash from conservatives over her interview with National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, which some felt echoed left-leaning media.

  • Elon Musk fired back at Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz after he mocked Tesla’s stock slump and called Musk an "un-elected, South African, nepo-baby." Musk responded by reminding Walz that he lost badly in his vice presidential bid.

  • Currently in the U.S. since February, Brazilian Congressman Eduardo Bolsonaro, son of former Trump ally President Jair Bolsonaro, announced he will seek U.S. asylum due to concerns of political persecution.

  • White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt revealed the Biden Administration killed nearly 8 million chickens ahead of Trump’s inauguration.

  • Trump hosted faith leaders in the Oval Office for a prayer session, organized by the new White House Faith Office, seeking divine guidance and support.

Vice President…

JD Vance acknowledged and honored the passing of Tony Dolan, the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who became President Ronald Reagan’s chief speechwriter, writing on X: “I met Tony a few times in the hallway of the West Wing. He was extremely kind, and I had no idea he coined the phrase "evil empire." May he rest in peace.”

Dolan, the speechwriter behind Reagan’s 1983 “Evil Empire” address, was a key voice in the Cold War. A journalist and advisor across multiple presidencies, he died at 76 from natural causes.

Congress…

Senate Republicans are resisting a full endorsement of Trump’s federal downsizing plan as they shape fiscal 2026 funding. While conservatives push to codify cuts from DOGE, Senate lawmakers aren’t backing a blanket adoption.

Republican Armed Services chairs rejected drastic changes to the U.S. military command structure, insisting Congress must be involved. The statement marks a rare GOP pushback against Trump in his second term.

House Democrats on the Homeland Security Committee have requested the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to assess the impact of the DOGE on the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The request, led by Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.), was also signed by Reps. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.), Seth Magaziner (D-R.I.), Shri Thanedar (D-Mich.), LaMonica McIver (D-N.J.), Lou Correa (D-Calif.), and Timothy Kennedy (D-N.Y.).

Florida is holding a special election to fill Mike Waltz’s vacated congressional seat after he became Trump’s National Security Advisor. Trump reaffirmed his endorsement of Republican Randy Fine, a Florida state senator.

The Resistance…

San Francisco Pride is financially strained as major sponsors are pulling funding. Executive Director Suzanne Ford said the event will have a smaller budget, suspecting businesses are distancing from DEI programs under the Trump administration.

A federal judge ordered the Education Department to reinstate $600 million in grants cut by the Trump administration’s purge of DEI programs. Judge Julie R. Rubin ruled the cuts were arbitrary and illegal, blocking future reductions. Education Secretary Linda McMahon argued the programs promoted “social justice activism” and should be eliminated.

Another federal judge blocked the EPA from ending $14 billion in climate grants, ruling the agency's fraud claims were “vague and unsubstantiated.” Judge Tonya Chutkan also barred Citibank from transferring funds. EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin alleged mismanagement and fraud, but the court found the claims insufficient.

Three liberal Fort Myers city council members faced backlash after rejecting an agreement with ICE. A viral video shows them crying and holding hands during the meeting. Their vote defies a state law signed by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, requiring local cooperation with federal immigration enforcement.

Deported Dominican drug dealer Virginia Basora-Gonzalez, 36, broke down in tears as ICE arrested her in Philadelphia. A U.S. magistrate judge issued a federal warrant the same day she was set to receive a removal order. Previously expelled under Trump, she reportedly reentered during the Biden administration.

Venezuela’s socialist regime launched a website for reporting alleged “unjust deportations” of Venezuelan illegal aliens from the U.S. Managed by the regime-affiliated Committee for the Defense of Venezuelan Migrants, the site claims to advocate for migrant rights and expose deportation cases.

Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell blamed Trump’s tariffs for rising prices shortly after the Fed held interest rates steady.
