Day 59
Trump begins the process of peace.
Today’s Big Story…
A two-hour phone call between President Trump and President Vladimir Putin resulted in a limited agreement for Russia and Ukraine to halt attacks on each others energy infrastructures, but fell short of a full peace deal. The U.S. announced that Russia had agreed to the limited ceasefire for 30 days. Negotiators will next address a potential halt to fighting in the Black Sea, paving the way for broader peace talks in the three-year Ukraine war. Ukraine President Zelenskiy said his country would support the proposal to stop strikes on energy facilities and infrastructure for 30 days.
Another Big Story…
Thanks to Elon Musk and SpaceX, NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams finally returned to Earth, ending a nine-month ordeal after a failed test flight last June. Their SpaceX capsule splashed down in the Gulf of America near Tallahassee, Florida, just hours after leaving the International Space Station. Recovery crews retrieved the capsule by boat. Their long-delayed return to the planet comes after the Biden administration made politically-based postponements of their rescue.
My Thoughts…
Trump understands how to negotiate better than anyone, and so I have no doubt the issues between Russia and Ukraine will be solved in time. As I stated on the Dennis Micheal Lynch Podcast yesterday, Trump may have to concede something to Russia in order for the war to end, but whatever it is, it won’t hurt the American people. We have to keep faith that Trump will always land us in the right spot, just like Elon did with the stranded astronauts.
The astronauts stranded at ISS since June are back on Earth. A big thanks to Elon Musk. It's shameful the Biden admin delayed their return for so long.

The Administration…
President Trump’s ally Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu launched return attacks on Hamas. Israeli airstrikes, targeting areas of Gaza, killed many hundreds of people, including Essam al-Da’alis, head of the Hamas government, along with other key militant leaders.
President Trump blasted Obama-appointed Judge James Boasberg on Truth Social for halting deportation flights of 261 illegal alien criminals and gang members to El Salvador’s CECOT mega-prison, writing he should be “impeached.”
The Trump administration is asking a federal appeals court to reassign the case on its use of the Alien Enemies Act for deportations, arguing Boasberg has mishandled the proceedings.
President Trump encouraged all illegal aliens still remaining in the United States to self-deport using the redesigned CBP Home App.
Trump fired two Democratic members of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Multiple sources indicate that the terminations are being challenged as unlawful, potentially violating the FTC's role as an independent agency tasked with protecting consumers and regulating market competition
Secretary of State Rubio warned Venezuela of "severe, escalating sanctions" if it refuses to accept deported citizens.
The VA announced it would no longer cover gender dysphoria treatment for veterans, aligning with Trump’s executive order defining gender as strictly male or female.
The Trump administration released 80,000 JFK assassination files, sparking intense interest among historians and conspiracy theorists. Most documents pertain to the 1964 Warren Commission probe, though it’s currently unclear if they reveal new details about Kennedy’s death.
The Treasury Department has promoted IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler, who accused the Biden Justice Department of favoring Hunter Biden in a tax probe. The veteran investigators will now serve as senior advisors to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
With illegal border crossings dropping, temporary processing facilities are being dismantled. According to DOGE, “These 21 contracts had a total ceiling value of approximately $4.3 billion, resulting in savings of around $600 million.”
DOGE announced Social Security had conducted a major records cleanup, marking approximately 3.2 million number holders—previously listed as 120 years or older—as deceased.
Attacks on Tesla vehicles and properties across the U.S. have been escalating, with incidents involving arson and vandalism. Attorney General Pam Bondi has labeled these actions as 'domestic terrorism'. In response, several perpetrators have been charged, with some facing mandatory minimum sentences of five years.
ICE agents broke the windows of car to arrest illegal alien TDA gang members. The move sparked a viral video of the event online. See video.
Vice President…
JD Vance has been named the RNC’s finance chair, marking the first time a sitting VP holds the role. This move further reflects his growing involvement in Trump’s MAGA movement, and giving him a direct role in the 2026 midterms.
Congress…
Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) has officially filed impeachment articles against U.S. District Judge James Boasberg for halting Trump’s deportation flights under the Alien Enemies Act. Check the DML Report yesterday to learn more about this.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer mocked Americans wanting to keep more of their income, praising the government as a necessary "barrier" during an appearance on The View. See video.
Fourteen House Democrats are urging President Trump to remove FBI Director Kash Patel as acting ATF chief, claiming “grave concerns.” Led by Rep. Mike Thompson (D-Calif.), the group voiced their objections in a letter shared by Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.).
Nine Democratic lawmakers are opposing Trump’s plan to detain thousands of illegal aliens at U.S. military sites. In a letter to the White House and Pentagon, they argue it diverts Defense personnel from their mission.
Trump supporter, business executive and 2022 GOP gubernatorial nominee,Tudor Dixon, is considering a 2026 statewide run in Michigan but hasn't decided between the Senate or governor’s race. She praised Trump on his leadership, border security, manufacturing, and energy independence.
The Resistance…
Chief Justice John Roberts issued a rare rebuke, criticizing calls from President Trump and his allies to impeach judges who ruled against the administration. Trump and the administration’s allies have pushed to impeach leftist judges blocking his policies early in his second term.
Mayor Eric Adams raised $36,000 from 42 donors in two months, fueling doubts about his re-election bid. The sum pales in comparison to Democratic primary front runners, highlighting his campaign struggles.
The Associated Press retracted a story falsely claiming DNI Tulsi Gabbard said Trump and Putin were "good friends." The corrected version clarifies she referred to Trump and India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with an editor’s note acknowledging the error.
An Ohio appeals court ruled that part of a 2023 law banning gender-affirming care for minors is unconstitutional, overturning a previous decision. The law, initially vetoed by Gov. Mike DeWine before being overridden by the GOP-led legislature, prohibits puberty blockers, hormone therapy, and transgender athletes from competing in girls' sports.
A federal judge ruled that Elon Musk and DOGE likely violated the Constitution by attempting to shut down USAID. Judge Theodore Chuang sided with over two dozen USAID employees and contractors, finding the effort unconstitutional under the Appointments Clause and separation of powers. He granted a partial injunction, ordering Musk and his task force to restore employee access.
Tesla dealerships in Las Vegas and Kansas City were targeted by arsonists, with multiple vehicles set on fire at both locations. Meanwhile, Tesla owners are reportedly being doxed by activists who despise Elon Musk.
Failed presidential candidate Tim Walz claimed to Gov. Gavin Newsom that when it comes to Trump supporters he can “kick most of their ass.”
A federal judge in D.C., Ana Reyes, has issued an injunction that indefinitely blocks President Trump’s executive order banning transgender individuals from serving in the military. This decision provides immediate protection for transgender military personnel.
I would end him and Mr California in a matter of seconds. I can't wait to discuss this on my podcast tomorrow.
