Day 179
The MAGA ultimatum
Today’s Big Story…
The Jeffrey Epstein controversy is dividing the MAGA movement, with some Trump supporters outraged after Attorney General Pam Bondi claimed no “Epstein client list” exists and that the investigation into the infamous pedophile and sex trafficker will be closed, with no anticipated public release of “The Epstein Files.”
The immense backlash has grown in recent days due to President Trump’s comments on the matter. While there was a previous push for an informational release on the subject of Epstein, including an event months ago where influencers were given binders labeled as “The Epstein Files: Phase One” (despite not including new information), Trump has now deemed the issue a Democrat created hoax.
In a fiery Truth Social post, Trump doubled down that the Epstein uproar is a Democrat-driven hoax and slammed supporters for falling for it, claiming he no longer wants their support, further distancing himself from a faction of MAGA that sees Epstein’s crimes as a key issue. Trump called Republicans pushing for more disclosure “stupid” and “foolish,” disavowing supporters he labeled “weaklings” for believing the “bullshit” narrative. He then addressed the issue again in the Oval Office during a meeting with the Prime Minister of Bahrain, telling reporters: “[Epstein’s] dead. He’s gone. And all it is, is certain Republicans got duped by the Democrats and they’re following a Democrat playbook… it’s no different than Russia, Russia, Russia and all the other hoaxes.”
This also comes after Trump commented on the Epstein files once again when he arrived at Joint Andrews Base earlier this week with Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick. As Trump responded to a reporter's question on the alleged client list of Epstein, again calling it a hoax. His remarks prompted Lutnick to chuckle next to him (social media users and supporters have resurfaced reports about Lutnick being the former neighbor to Epstein in Manhattan).
Those who have criticized the Trump administration over its handling include Joe Rogan, Tucker Carlson, Elon Musk, Megyn Kelly, Steve Bannon, Charlie Kirk, Matt Walsh, Alex Jones, Benny Johnson, and General Mike Flynn, among many others. Despite the criticisms from prominent campaign supporters, Trump maintains the issue is a hoax, which some see as a contradiction from his past rhetoric when he first raised the issue of Epstein and his private island when he first ran for president against Hillary Clinton, mentioning her husband and the former president’s alleged association with Epstein.
The Radical Left Democrats have hit pay dirt, again! Just like with the FAKE and fully discredited Steele Dossier, the lying 51 “Intelligence” Agents, the Laptop from Hell, which the Dems swore had come from Russia (No, it came from Hunter Biden’s bathroom!), and even the Russia,

Another Big Story…
President Trump signed the bipartisan HALT Fentanyl Act, permanently classifying all fentanyl-related substances as Schedule I drugs to toughen penalties and curb trafficking.
Calling it a “historic step toward justice,” he said the law aims to stop cartels from evading regulation with new synthetic variants.
“We’ll be getting the drug dealers, pushers, and peddlers off our street, and we will not rest until we have ended the drug overdose epidemic,” Trump said. “And it’s been getting a little bit better, but it’s horrible.”
Today, President Trump signed legislation to amend the Controlled Substances Act regarding the scheduling of fentanyl-related substances.
This legislation cannot bring back our loved ones lost to fentanyl, but it will prevent countless deaths.

JD Vance delivered the Trump administration’s first major push to promote President Trump’s sweeping budget and policy plan in northeastern Pennsylvania, a key swing region, telling the crowd: “Go and talk to your neighbors, go and talk to your friends, about what this bill does for America’s citizens. Because we don’t want to wake up in a year and a half and give the Democrats power back.”
Congress…
THE HOUSE
•Anthony Bernal, a top aide to former First Lady Jill Biden, refused to answer questions from House GOP investigators, reportedly pleading the Fifth during a closed-door deposition. The Resistance…
