Day 175
On Sundays, 47 Report takes a break from its normal format to delve into a single topic of significance. Today's focus is Dan Bongino.
The Chances were 0%
You were never going to see the Epstein List.
Some topics captivate the general public but hold little interest for me. A prime example is the Jeffrey Epstein drama and his so-called client list. It’s not that I don’t care about protecting young girls from trafficking or forced sex—I’ve donated significantly to organizations supporting such victims. However, I see no value in chasing a story with no resolution. Does an Epstein client list exist? I’m certain it does. But we’ll never see it. Too many powerful people would be at risk of being killed.
Here is what I wrote on Facebook earlier today:
If I get one more question about what I think about the Epstein files, I may swallow gasoline. So here is my blanket answer: I've been around long enough to know the obvious when I see it. Per the Epstein list, assuming there is one, my guess is high profile people from both sides of the aisle are on the list. Therefore, both sides have an interest in keeping it closed. There is no other explanation. And there is no doubt, the sort of people on the alleged list are the kind of folks with unlimited resources. I'd bet countless people are afraid for their lives at this point, on all ends, and so the odds are 100% the list remains sealed. In other news, we're paying too much for health insurance, AI is taking jobs, deportations are slow, our enemies want to nuke America, and kids are not safe at school. Can we get back to basics.
Dan
The Epstein List is a major conversation point for MAGA personalities, and it’s a ratings grabber, much like how everyone stops to look at a fender bender. People love a good wreck, and the Epstein mystery is like a 100-car pile-up. Nobody in the media benefited more from this story than Dan Bongino. For years, on behalf of his listeners, he called for transparency, demanding, “We need to see who is on the list!” People like Trump and Bondi listened. But today, when shit is hitting the fan — that same demand is ignored.
According to recent comments from Attorney General Pam Bondi, who has the full support of President Trump, there is no list. With this in mind, the big news on X is whether the podcaster-turned-FBI official will resign on Monday over the false promises surrounding the list and its release to the public.
Mistakes
When Dan took the #2 position at the FBI, I thought it was a mistake—Bongino is a Batman type, not a Robin. At the time, he was at the top of the podcast charts, earning millions of dollars each year, his kids still young, and he could have stayed a kingmaker instead of becoming a king’s soldier. That said, quitting the FBI on Monday would be an even bigger mistake. Being #2 at the FBI is much bigger than being #1 on Rumble.
Dan is a fighter at heart, and so he’s seething about how this Epstein ordeal has been handled. It was much easier to talk about it on the radio, I’m sure. Podcasting is talk sponsored by advertisements; D.C. is corruption bought by billionaires. But Dan must of known this going in, so I cannot understand why he’s considering a resignation. He had to expect this would happen, especially if there are big names from the Republican Party and donor pool on the Epstein list. Dan couldn’t have thought the list consisted only of Democrats and Hollywood folks. Therefore, I am guessing Dan’s thoughts of resignation relate to him being a Batman and not a Robin, and Robin doesn’t like being handcuffed by Cat Woman.
Reportedly, and understandably, Dan is frustrated with how Attorney General Pam Bondi handled the Epstein client list saga. Initially, it seemed Bondi would reveal the list, fulfilling Trump’s campaign promise. Then came delays and excuses, and now we’re told there’s no list—time to move on. It reads like a coverup. And so Dan, who spent significant podcasting time on this topic, is likely stung by online criticism calling him a sellout — as if he is part of the coverup. Dan cares deeply about his reputation, as he should, and these harsh comments must hit hard—but he should ignore them!
Who cares what people on X have to say!
Listen to reasonable people like me, who say resigning would be a far bigger mistake. Dan loves politics and D.C. He tried to run for Congress three times—he lost each time, but it’s in his blood. Anyone can be a podcaster, but few sit at the top of the FBI. If Dan were in front of me right now, I’d tell him podcasting is oversaturated and soon to become a fading fad. Forget the world of media; He won’t catch lightning a third time. He hit it big at Fox and then on Rumble/Apple Podcasts. He went out on top, and now he has a chance to climb even higher — be can be bigger than Batman. More on that in a moment.
Returning to his radio show and podcast would haunt him. Every show would be the same: he’d be silenced on the Epstein issue due to NDAs and “national security” restrictions, which would eat him alive more than today’s criticism. If he quits, I fear many fans will lose favor for him permanently, his numbers will fade, and his chance to make a mark in D.C. will never return.
I like Pam Bondi, she’s done a great job on matters of greater interest. I also wonder if she fears for her safety, I can’t blame her for such a concern. I bet the people on that list are horrible monsters, capable of just about anything. I also like Dan’s get-it-done attitude. Dan’s a strong personality with a passion for catching bad guys — we need more of these types in DC. Yes, he’s upset about the Epstein list, as he should be. And maybe he and Pam promised to deliver something they didn’t have the power to give. If that list goes out, my guess is innocent people will pay the price with their lives. IT JUST ISN’T WORTH IT. Therefore, I want to see Dan and Pam make amends, and get these scumbags some other way.
Move on…
I would bet all the tea in China that the transparency Dan wanted—and we deserve—didn’t materialize because child rapists — many of whom are likely billionaires — are capable of anything and everything to protect their interests. So, Dan should step back from the forest (X) to see the trees (DC). See the bigger mission! The FBI’s mission—and America’s safety—extends beyond chasing a list of predators who took holidays to a perverted island. God will judge them; Epstein’s already paying the ultimate price. Dan should refocus on bigger priorities: investigate the 2020 election fraud, dismantle drug cartels and terror networks, and prevent the next Epstein. He needs to stay the course —make a bigger name for himself in the areas that matter most.
When Dan was podcasting, I never followed him or listened to his show. But since he’s been at the FBI, I follow him daily. We need Dan kicking ass and taking names, not back in Stuart, Florida, talking into a Best Buy microphone. I hope he stays the course rather than bailing because we need heroes to solve real problems—chasing a dead man’s black book doesn’t justify a cape in the same way a fender bender doesn’t justify hitting the brakes.
