Today’s Big Story…

President Trump expressed intense frustration with both Israel and Iran for violating a ceasefire he had announced just hours earlier, aimed at ending the 12-Day War.

Speaking to reporters outside the White House before departing for a NATO summit, Trump was visibly angry, stating, “We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what the f--k they’re doing.

His ire was particularly directed at Israel, which he accused of launching a massive attack on Iran shortly after the ceasefire agreement, saying, “Israel, as soon as we made the deal, they came out and they dropped a load of bombs, the likes of which I’ve never seen before.” Trump took to Truth Social to emphasize the ceasefire, posting, “THE CEASEFIRE IS NOW IN EFFECT. PLEASE DO NOT VIOLATE IT!” He also directly warned Israel, writing, “ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!

Israel had accused Iran of firing missiles post-ceasefire, which Iran denied, prompting Israel’s retaliatory strikes, including a radar site near Tehran. Following Trump’s blunt phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel refrained from further attacks, with Trump announcing on Truth Social, “ISRAEL is not going to attack Iran. All planes will turn around and head home, while doing a friendly ‘Plane Wave’ to Iran.”

This intervention appeared to stabilize the fragile truce, as Israel rerouted its planes after Trump’s complaints. Both nations signaled conditional acceptance of the ceasefire, with Iran’s president open to nuclear talks and Israel lifting emergency restrictions. Despite the initial violations, Trump’s diplomatic efforts seemed to hold the ceasefire together, averting further escalation.

Another Big Story…

President Trump fired back after Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called for his impeachment over the U.S. airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear sites.

In a fiery Truth Social post, Trump lambasted and sharply criticized AOC with a prolonged statement about her character, or lack thereof. In the sharp rebuke, Trump also aimed at other prominent Democrats, including Rep. Jasmine Crockett, Rep. Ilhan Omar, Sen. Chuck Schumer, President Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and even mocked Biden’s use of an autopen.

Throughout the massive critique, Trump called AOC “one of the ‘dumbest’ people in Congress,” “NOT qualified for office,” and “The Mouse”, while also stating she neglects her district and even suggested she should take a cognitive test.

Ocasio-Cortez fired back on X, accusing Trump of dragging the U.S. into war and ignoring the peace deal he brokered between Israel and Iran. In a sarcastic, she also corrected Trump by claiming she’s a “Bronx girl.”

  2. NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte praised President Trump for making Europe “pay in a BIG way” as leaders met in the Netherlands for a key summit that could either unify or divide the alliance over defense spending. En route, Trump shared a screenshot of Rutte’s private message praising him.

  3. President Trump is pressuring Republicans to pass the party’s tax and spending package, warning he may cancel next week’s recess if it’s not on his desk. GOP leaders aim to pass the “big, beautiful bill” by their July 4 deadline.

  6. About 75% of U.S. health insurers have signed new voluntary commitments to improve patient care by streamlining prior-authorization procedures. Announced by CMS Director Dr. Mehmet Oz and HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the pledge aims to reduce bureaucratic delays and simplify the approval process.

  7. Energy Secretary Chris Wright criticized the Biden administration for an “absolutely infuriating” last-minute spending spree, revealing that over $90 billion in green energy loans were pushed through in the 76 days between Trump’s 2024 reelection and his inauguration. Wright said the amount exceeds the office’s total loan volume over the past 15 years.

  8. DHS Secretary Kristi Noem visited Panama City to observe a deportation flight and promote the Trump administration’s expanded agreement with Panama, aimed at deporting illegals before they reach the U.S. border.

  9. Florida has started building a migrant detention center on an old runway in the Everglades, part of President Trump’s immigration crackdown. Dubbed “Alligator Alcatraz” by Attorney General James Uthmeier, the site is surrounded by alligators and pythons.

  10. Edward Coristine, a 19-year-old coder known by the alias “Big Balls,” resigned from the Department of Government Efficiency following White House adviser Elon Musk’s departure.

Vice President…

JD Vance returned to Ohio to deliver the keynote speech at the Ohio Republican Party dinner in Lima. The sold-out event, promoted as an “evening of support,” attracted GOP leaders and grassroots supporters from across the state.

During his speech, Vance joked about criticism he faces in Washington, saying “pink-haired people” often flash him a gesture he interprets as meaning “we're number one.” He then raised his middle finger, drawing laughs from the crowd.

Congress…

THE HOUSE

The House overwhelmingly voted to dismiss Rep. Al Green’s (D-TX) effort to impeach President Trump over the Iran strikes, with a 344-79 vote to table the resolution. 128 Democrats joined Republicans in rejecting the measure, showing little support for impeachment.

Rep. Buddy Carter (R-GA) nominated President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, citing his “extraordinary” role in brokering this week’s ceasefire between Iran and Israel. Carter sent a formal letter to the Norwegian Nobel Committee.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) has withdrawn from the race to become the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, which is investigating President Biden’s mental fitness. Progressive Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) won the position.

Rep. Kim Schrier (D-Wash.) accused HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. of lying to Sen. Bill Cassidy by promising not to alter a key federal vaccine advisory panel during a House health subcommittee hearing.

THE SENATE

Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer criticized the Trump administration for postponing a classified briefing on Trump’s strikes on Iranian nuclear sites. Schumer claimed no reason was given but noted the delay to tomorrow allows Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Secretary of State Marco Rubio to attend.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) criticized the GOP’s spending bill, calling it “weak” and “anemic” in a CNBC interview. He argued it fails to curb rising debt as the Senate considers the package.

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) called the idea of caucusing with Democrats an “interesting hypothetical” but stopped short of committing, even if Democrats gain three seats in 2027. Murkowski is currently promoting her new memoir.

The Resistance…

  1. Former Biden aide Neera Tanden testified privately before the House Oversight Committee, addressing concerns about the president’s mental fitness and use of an autopen. Tanden confirmed she was authorized to use the device while managing document flow to and from the president during her tenure as staff secretary and senior adviser. She denied any misconduct or manipulation.

  2. Former Secretary of State Antony Blinken criticized Trump’s strikes on Iranian nuclear sites as “unwise and unnecessary” but expressed hope they were effective.

  3. Dr. Yasir Qadhi, a Texas imam pushing to build an exclusive Islamic city near Dallas, urged U.S. Muslims to side with Iran over the U.S. and Israel during a sermon at the East Plano Islamic Center. His remarks come amid growing concerns about potential Iranian sleeper cells inside the U.S.

  4. ICE arrested 11 Iranian nationals in the U.S. over the weekend, along with a U.S. citizen who threatened agents while harboring an illegal Iranian immigrant.

  5. A federal judge blocked the deportation of eight illegal aliens, prompting the Trump administration to call it a “lawless act of defiance” against the Supreme Court. Judge Brian Murphy, a Biden appointee, halted the removal of the illegals held at a U.S. naval base in Djibouti.

  6. New York City closed its migrant arrival center at the Roosevelt Hotel, a former Manhattan landmark that had become a symbol of the city's overwhelmed illegal alien crisis.

Jmpgfoto: “Iran cannot be trusted and I wouldn't be one bit surprised if they are gaming Trump and have some plan to violate the ceasefire with Israel, it's what radical Islamic terrorists do! We need to be keeping an eye on this! As a veteran I don't believe in war if it can be avoided but I also would not trust anyone who had never honored an agreement.”

47 Report: Agreed. It’ll be very tense the next few days and weeks to see how the ceasefire plays out. There’s a strong possibility for escalation, or perhaps this could be the peak of the conflict. Either way, it’s been very impressive to see how President Trump and his team have handled the crisis. He needs blessings and support now more than ever.
