Today’s Big Story…

Rumors of an Iranian regime change are intensifying, as what started as a campaign of Israel seeking to end their uranium enrichment and nuclear energy program to musings about killing their supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

President Trump said the U.S. military command knows the exact location of Iran's Khamenei, calling him an easy target, but added he would not be killed, at least for now. He wrote on Truth Social: “We know exactly where the so-called “Supreme Leader” is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there - We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now. But we don't want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin.”

After leaving the G7 summit in Canada early, President Trump faced criticism from French President Emmanuel Macron, who warned against using force to remove Iran’s regime, citing the chaos that followed similar efforts in Iraq and Libya. This comes as fears are rising that the U.S. may join Israel’s military campaign in Iran.

"The biggest mistake today would be to try to do a regime change in Iran through military means because that would lead to chaos," Macron said, adding "no one can say what comes next."

Trump dismissed Macron’s claim, saying the French leader "always gets it wrong." Additionally, Trump posted on Truth Social the U.S. military has “complete and total control of the skies over Iran” and called for Iran’s “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!

Another Big Story…

The intensity of the Israeli-Iranian war has stirred massive tensions with President Trump’s voter base in the U.S., as well as some of Trump’s allies and Cabinet members.

Earlier this week, President Trump lambasted former Fox News host Tucker Carlson over his opposition to U.S. intervention in the Middle Eastern conflict, calling him “kooky.” Similarly, when CNN’s Kaitlan Collins asked Trump aboard Air Force One about DNI Tulsi Gabbard’s assessment last April that Iran was not developing nuclear weapons, Trump disregarded the director, responding: “I don’t care what she said; I think they were very close to having one.”

While the media has been fixating on Trump’s dismissal of Gabbard’s intelligence report on Iran, Gabbard herself told CNN she and Trump are “on the same page” when it comes to the prevention of Iran’s current nuclear capabilities. She claimed the media misrepresented her by omitting her full testimony. And while she was not present for the Camp David meeting with Trump and intelligence officials on June 8, she was with Trump in the Situation Room following the president’s return from the G7 summit.

What President Trump is saying is the same thing that I said in my annual threat assessment back in March in Congress. Unfortunately, too many people in the media don’t care to actually read what I said,” Gabbard told CNN and NBC News.

The Administration…

  1. A new GrayHouse poll shows strong support among Trump voters for Israel’s strikes on Iran, with 83% backing the attacks on Tehran’s nuclear program. Support for Trump has also risen, with 95% approving of his job performance—75% strongly and 20% somewhat—as he rallies behind Israel.

  2. President Trump shared a heartfelt text message from U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, who is currently in Israel. The U.S. Embassy branch in Tel Aviv sustained minor damage from shockwaves after an Iranian missile struck nearby.

  3. The U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem will be closed today through Friday due to the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict. All U.S. government staff and families have been ordered to shelter in place.

  4. ICE agents have been ordered to resume workplace raids at hotels, restaurants, and farms after a brief pause by the Trump administration.

  5. This follows after USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins said the U.S. is urging farmers to adopt machines and technology instead of relying on illegal alien labor. Rollins reaffirmed her full support for President Trump’s stance that all illegal aliens, including farmworkers, should be deported.

  6. President Trump will sign an executive order extending the TikTok ban deadline by 90 days, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed. She noted Trump wants TikTok to remain available while ensuring Americans’ data is protected.

  7. FBI Director Kash Patel gave Congress a declassified 2020 report warning that China may have mass-produced fake U.S. driver’s licenses to submit fraudulent mail-in ballots for Joe Biden.

  8. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was taken to a DC hospital after an allergic reaction. She was conscious, spoke with her security team, and is recovering, according to a DHS spokesperson.

  9. Blue-collar wages have risen nearly 2% in the first five months of Trump’s second term—more than under any president since 1969. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent credited Trump’s “pro-growth, America First” policies.

  10. Elon Musk released negative drug test results to counter claims from a New York Times report accusing him of drug use while campaigning with Trump and during his time in the Trump administration.

Vice President…

JD Vance posted a strong statement after initially staying silent on Israel’s airstrikes against Iran, seemingly in response to journalist David Reaboi’s accusation that his team leaked information to Axios and Politico.

Vance wrote the following to Reaboi before posting his whole take on the Israel-Iran war: “This loser (who supported DeSantis in the 2024 primary) is now attacking my team, which has been working tirelessly to implement the president’s agenda. He has no evidence for this BS smear because there isn’t any.”

Congress…

THE HOUSE

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) defended Tucker Carlson after Trump downplayed his influence in the Israel-Iran conflict at the G7 summit, suggesting Carlson should “get a television network” if he wants to be heard. Trump later posted on Truth Social that Carlson is “kooky.”

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) criticized the Trump administration’s use of the military, saying it makes the U.S. resemble “one of the worst countries.” She pointed to the deployment of troops to Los Angeles protests during the same week as a military parade marking the Army’s 250th anniversary. Comparing it to her childhood in Somalia, she claimed even dictatorships didn’t display such scenes.

Rep. Greg Landsman (D-OH), reportedly on the Minnesota shooter’s “hit list,” urged President Trump to show “moral leadership” after the attack on Democratic lawmakers. Speaking on CNN, he criticized Trump for refusing to call Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

THE SENATE

Senators urged Capitol Police to boost security funding following the fatal shooting of former Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband, amid growing concerns over political threats and violence.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) urged President Trump to fully back Israel's war with Iran, telling Fox News’ Sean Hannity it’s time to “close the chapter on the Ayatollah.” He said the U.S. should be ready to launch bunker-busting bombing missions if necessary.

Senate Banking Chair Tim Scott (R-SC) said that passing the GENIUS Act supports Trump’s goal of making America the “cryptocurrency capital of the world.” The bill establishes regulations for the $238 billion stablecoin market.

Former Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) began serving an 11-year sentence at a federal prison in Pennsylvania after being convicted on 16 counts, including bribery and acting as a foreign agent for Egypt.

The Resistance…

  1. City Comptroller and mayoral candidate Brad Lander was arrested by ICE outside a federal immigration court after refusing to release his grip on a detainee. Video captured the tense moment as agents detained him. Fellow candidate Adrienne Adams lashed out at President Trump and defended New York’s sanctuary city status. Over 100 protesters, including candidate Zohran Mamdani and Attorney General Letitia James, gathered in support.

  2. Of the 575 arrests from the recent anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles, only about a dozen suspects have been criminally charged so far. LA County District Attorney Nathan Hochman said charges were filed against several individuals involved in the looting, vandalism, and violence.

  3. Dramatic video shows a driver running over a “No Kings” protester’s leg in Los Angeles. The woman stood in front of a burgundy sedan at an intersection, blocking its path. As the car, which had a green light, moved forward, the protester refused to move. The driver then accelerated, knocking her down and running over her lower leg.

  4. Kevin Krebs, 31, of West Chester, PA, was arrested near a “No Kings” protest after police were alerted to a man with a concealed weapon. He was found carrying a firearm without a permit, and a later search of his home uncovered seven pipe bombs.

  5. Omar Pulido Bastida, 41, was federally charged for spitting on an ICE agent during his arrest for illegally reentering the U.S. ICE said Bastida, a previously deported illegal alien with a robbery conviction and past arrests for murder and assault, was taken into custody during the incident.

  6. Despite a 90% drop in migrant apprehensions since Trump took office, attempts to cross the border continue. Authorities say smugglers are now sending illegal aliens through dangerous terrain, guiding them remotely by cellphone.

  7. A federal judge expanded an order blocking the Trump administration from enforcing its policy requiring sex on passports to match sex “at conception.” The ruling now applies to all transgender, nonbinary, and intersex Americans.

  8. Actress Ellen Barkin posted a four-line poem on X insulting Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, calling her a “c*nt.” She followed up with comments like “Jane of all trades” and “Who let the dogs out?” after news broke of Noem being hospitalized.

  9. Ronnie Winter, lead singer of The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, announced that Trump supporters are permanently banned from his shows. In a video on the band’s Instagram, he singled out Christian Trump voters, claiming they are unwelcome.

  10. R&B singer R. Kelly was hospitalized for overdose symptoms while in solitary confinement. His attorney, Beau Brindley, is also seeking a presidential pardon and says he’s contacted people with ties to Trump, though Kelly and Trump have no known relationship beyond Kelly once living in Trump Tower.

In Other News…

Your Opinions & Questions…

Judith P: Just a comment on Military Parades. The Army parade was beautiful and worth the watch. But very expensive. I think they should honor all the branches but not in the same year. Too expensive and people would stop watching.

47 Report: That’s a great idea—especially if it focuses on each branch and department of the military, particularly around Independence Day. If they can find a way to lower the cost, it could be a powerful way to honor our servicemembers while also educating young Americans about the armed forces and the battles they’ve faced. It’s a meaningful way to build greater appreciation and patriotism among the next generation.
