The time for decisive action has arrived, and President Trump is stepping up to confront a critical issue head-on. On Friday, June 6, 2025, federal agents launched a bold operation in Los Angeles’ garment district, executing four search warrants and detaining over 100 illegal aliens in a sweeping crackdown. This is the enforcement we voted for—a direct assault on the lawlessness that has eroded our borders and burdened our communities for too long. The rule of law must be restored, and this effort must be replicated in every state across the nation.

The scene in LA was chaotic. Protesters clashed with authorities, throwing eggs and Molotov cocktails, attempting to obstruct justice. Federal agents, undeterred, deployed pepper spray, rubber bullets, and flash-bang grenades to maintain order. The Department of Homeland Security reports a surge in enforcement, with 2,000 illegal aliens detained daily last week—up from 600 earlier in Trump’s administration. This is a clear signal: the days of lax enforcement are over. Yet, the challenge remains immense, and we cannot relent.

California hosts a staggering number of illegal aliens — the largest share illegally present population in the USA to be exact—millions residing in the state, often working under the table and straining public resources like schools, hospitals, and infrastructure. In Los Angeles County alone, over 30% of residents are immigrants, and a significant portion are here illegally. Spanish is the dominating language. This is both pathetic and unsustainable. These illegal aliens must be shipped out, without pause, and we must encourage them to self-deport—voluntarily leave the country—or face the consequences of continued violations. The integrity of our legal system demands it.

President Trump is taking bold steps. He’s deployed 2,000 National Guard troops to LA County, overriding California Governor Gavin Newsom’s objections, who called the move “inflammatory.” Local leaders like Mayor Karen Bass have complained, noting the troops are still en route but expected within 24 hours to support ICE operations. This marks a historic shift—the first time since 1965 a president has mobilized the Guard without a governor’s consent. Sanctuary policies in cities like LA, where local law enforcement refuses to cooperate with ICE, have shielded illegal aliens for too long. This ends now.

To amplify this momentum, I think President Trump must issue an executive order mandating E-Verify nationwide. This critical tool requires employers to verify the legal status of workers, severing the job magnet that draws and sustains illegal aliens. Without employment, the incentive to remain vanishes, encouraging self-deportation. Combined with intensified raids, mandatory E-Verify will deliver results. Sanctuary states and cities cannot be allowed to undermine federal law any longer.

The Los Angeles operation is a blueprint. Every state must adopt this aggressive stance—raids, enforcement, and E-Verify—to protect our economy, security, and sovereignty. We voted for a government that prioritizes the rule of law, and Trump is now delivering in part — it’s a good start. The time for half-measures is over. We must demand action, drive illegal aliens to self-deport, and reclaim our nation’s foundation. The future of America depends on it.
