Day 114
Trump saves lives with two unique decisions
Today’s Big Story…
President Trump signed a celebrated executive order requiring drugmakers to lower U.S. drug prices to match those in other countries.
The order sets 30-day price targets and warns of further action if companies don’t show “significant progress.” At a historic press conference, Trump said the U.S. would impose tariffs if drug prices don’t match those in other nations, aiming for cuts between 59% and 90%.
He noted Americans pay nearly triple what other nations do. Inspired by a friend’s story about a weight-loss drug costing $88 in London versus $1,300 in the U.S., Trump vowed that if drugmakers don’t comply, the government will pursue rulemaking to align prices globally, consider drug imports, and potentially restrict exports. His order also calls for exploring direct-to-consumer programs offering international pricing.
President Trump declared that the U.S. "will no longer tolerate profiteering and price gouging from Big Pharma" as he signed an executive order implementing the "most favored nations drug pricing."

Another Big Story…
The U.S. welcomed 49 White South African refugees facing "government-sponsored racial discrimination," with Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau greeting the Afrikaners as they arrived at Dulles Airport in Virginia.
President Trump launched the resettlement of white South African refugees with an executive order prioritizing White Afrikaners, citing racial discrimination and a controversial land seizure law. Trump argued the land law would unfairly target the Afrikaner minority group, who descended from Dutch and other European settlers who arrived more than 300 years ago.
The executive order allows Afrikaners to submit interest statements to the U.S. embassy in Pretoria for eligibility review and interviews, which will pave the way for more White refugees to safely migrate to the U.S. to escape violent Black supremacy in South Africa.
Today @DeputySecState welcomed the first group of Afrikaner refugees fleeing persecution from their native South Africa. We stand with these refugees, many of them farmers and former business owners, as they build a better future for themselves and their children here in the

The Administration…
President Trump criticized an ABC News reporter for questioning his acceptance of a luxury jet from Qatar, saying it would be “stupid” to reject the gift.
Two key Trump tax promises—“No Tax on Tips” and “No Tax on Overtime”—are included in a new 389-page House bill.
President Trump signed two congressional reversals of late Biden-era CFPB rules—one capping overdraft fees and another increasing oversight of digital wallets. The rules were finalized near the end of Biden’s term, making them subject to repeal under the Congressional Review Act.
President Trump endorsed former critic Jack Ciattarelli for New Jersey governor, calling him an “America First” candidate. In a Truth Social post, Trump praised Ciattarelli’s full support and said he would partner with the administration on the economy, border security, energy, and more.
Shedeur Sanders thanked President Trump for backing him after he unexpectedly fell to the fifth round of the NFL draft, picked 144th by the Cleveland Browns. Trump had voiced disappointment on Truth Social as Sanders, son of Deion Sanders, dropped despite a strong season at Colorado.
A large crowd in Tenafly, New Jersey gathered to watch the live stream of Edan Alexander’s release from Hamas, orchestrated by President Trump’s team. Now 21, Alexander was taken hostage at age 19 in October 2023.
President Trump said the U.S. needs a missile defense system like Israel’s Iron Dome, proposing a “Golden Dome” to better protect Americans. Speaking from the Oval Office, he called the world safer than before but still dangerous, vowing unprecedented protection for U.S. citizens.
A federal judge rejected a request to block a DHS-IRS partnership allowing ICE to access taxpayer data to locate illegal immigrants facing deportation. The ruling came during a lawsuit filed by immigrant-rights groups against Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
ICE officers in Houston arrested 422 illegal aliens during a weeklong operation targeting dangerous offenders, including a murder suspect wanted in Colombia.
Vice President…
JD Vance called out the Episcopal Church, labeling them “Crazy.” The Church criticized the Trump administration for resettling White South Africans in the U.S., claiming that categorizing them as refugees has forced them to end their decades-old partnership with the government out of “moral opposition.”
Women and children. Fathers who have stable jobs. Not one single gang tattoo. Everyone is waving an American flag.
The only refugees the left hates.

Congress…
Conservative author and former Treasury official Monica Crowley was confirmed as assistant secretary of state and chief of protocol, with ambassador rank. A former Fox News contributor, she also served in Trump’s first administration and received the Treasury’s Alexander Hamilton Award.
Senate Republicans raised legal, ethical, and safety concerns over President Trump potentially accepting a luxury Boeing 747-8 jet from Qatar. Trump defended the move, saying it would replace the current Air Force One fleet.
Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer criticized the Trump administration’s new trade deal with China, claiming Beijing “got the better” of the U.S. He accused Trump of inconsistent policy, calling the agreement another example of “chaos.”
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton leads Senator John Cornyn by 16 points in the 2026 GOP Senate primary, according to a Senate Leadership Fund poll showing Paxton at 56% and Cornyn at 40%.
A viral video shared by Rep. Tim Moore reveals hidden staircases and passageways beneath the U.S. Capitol, remnants from its original 18th-century construction. Commissioned in 1793 with George Washington laying the cornerstone, the Capitol was completed in 1826 and has seen expansions over the years.
The Resistance…
The Biden administration’s DHS granted nearly 7,000 terrorism-related entry exemptions in 2024, many to Afghan nationals. Despite potential security concerns, most exemptions were for refugees who would otherwise be ineligible to enter the U.S.
Around 50 clergy members from Faith in N.J. and Faith in Action protested outside Newark’s Delaney Hall ICE facility again, vowing to block the entrance until arrested. The group linked arms, chanting and singing at the main gate.
The DNC is seeking to remove gun control activist David Hogg as vice chairman, with its credentials committee voting 13-2 to void his February election. The move follows reports that Hogg plans to spend up to $20 million to fund primary challenges against incumbent Democrats.
New York business groups are criticizing Attorney General Letitia James’ FAIR Business Practices Act, warning it could lead to frivolous lawsuits and legal “shakedowns.” While the bill aims to strengthen consumer protections against scams like deed theft and junk fees, opponents say it would ultimately hurt small businesses.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom unveiled a multibillion-dollar plan to combat homelessness, urging local governments to act quickly. He released a model ordinance for cities and counties to clear unsafe encampments and connect the homeless with shelter and services.
Wild street racing and rising crime have plagued Kansas City’s Crossroads neighborhood, making the once-busy area a nightmare for residents and small business owners. Locals say police presence has vanished as racers in modified cars, dirt bikes, and ATVs take over intersections for chaotic nighttime stunts.
In Other News…
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has announced a major shift in immigration policy, breaking from the long-held view that mass migration is always beneficial. In a recent speech, he said this belief has been “tested” and warned that without controls, Britain could become “an island of strangers.” Starmer unveiled reforms to cut net migration, including tougher English language rules, scrapping visas for foreign care workers, and doubling the citizenship residency requirement from five to ten years.
