OpEd: Trump Must Stop The Birthing Hotel Scam…

A VERY BIG ISSUE NOBODY TALKS ABOUT
Above, I offered you a link leading to a report on Trump’s astonishing numbers at the border. I am overly impressed with this administration’s efforts to curb illegal immigration by strengthening border security and targeting the most dangerous illegals for deportation. However, I would like to see the White House shift focus by addressing the estimated 50 million illegals —many of whom are day laborers—who continue to live in the U.S. without concern about deportation.
One easy solution Trump could pursue is signing an executive order mandating E-Verify nationwide. This system would require all U.S. employers to verify the legal work status of their employees, discouraging the hiring of undocumented workers. Such a policy could trigger a significant wave of self-deportation, as economic incentives for staying diminish, prompting many to return to their home countries voluntarily. Implementing this could streamline efforts to reduce the illegal population without relying solely on resource-intensive roundups.
It’s not just illegal immigration that’s killing us. America is taking in more than 1 million legal immigrants each year. We are not vetting these people correctly, and so our system is being abused. Case in point: Trump must address a pressing immigration loophole by cracking down on the so-called ‘birthing hotels.’
Birthing hotels, also known as maternity hotels or birth tourism centers, have emerged as a huge scam against the United States, particularly in states like California. These facilities cater primarily to Chinese women, often hand picked by the Chinese government, who travel to the U.S. on tourist visas with the explicit goal of giving birth on American soil. Under the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, ratified in 1868, anyone born in the United States is automatically granted citizenship, a policy known as birthright citizenship. This legal provision, originally intended to secure citizenship for freed slaves after the Civil War, has been leveraged by foreign nationals seeking the long-term benefits of U.S. citizenship for their children, including access to public education, healthcare, the ability to sponsor family members for immigration later in life, and to one day RUN FOR PUBLIC OFFICE, including president.
Now, to his credit, Trump recently signed an executive order trying to end the provision of the 14th Amendment that allows our citizenship to be given away like it comes out of a Cracker Jack’s box, but numerous courts have blocked him. But, while he battles the courts, he can curb the issue, in part, by shutting down those tourist visas given to Chinese pregnant women, or any pregnant woman for that matter.
California
Our country’s most radical state is ground zero for birthing hotels. Cities like Irvine and Rowland Heights have become hotspots, with operators offering luxury accommodations and comprehensive services to guide expectant Chinese mothers through the process.
The mechanics of birthing hotels reveal a well-organized industry built around exploiting legal loopholes. Chinese women, often from the burgeoning middle and upper classes, pay between $20,000 and $80,000 for packages that include housing, food, medical care, and assistance with visa applications and passport procurement for their newborns.
Companies instruct pregnant women to enter the U.S. early in their pregnancies—typically around the second trimester—wearing loose clothing to conceal their condition and entering through popular tourist hubs like Hawaii or Las Vegas to avoid scrutiny at major entry points like Los Angeles. Once in the U.S., they reside in residential apartment complexes or converted homes, dubbed “maternity hotels,” where they await delivery in local hospitals, paying out of pocket for medical expenses. NOTE: You can bet your retirement that the money is given to them by the Chinese government.
After the birth, mothers typically stay an additional month to secure their child’s U.S. passport and Social Security number before returning to China with a child who now has dual citizenship and a potential future foothold in America.
While California dominates the narrative around Chinese birth tourism, Florida has seen a parallel trend with Russian women, particularly in areas like Sunny Isles Beach, nicknamed “Little Russia.” Here, Russian families, often staying in lavish properties, pay similar fees—ranging from $20,000 to $100,000—for birth tourism services. The motivations mirror those of their Chinese counterparts: securing U.S. citizenship for their children.
LEGALITIES
In both cases, the practice is technically legal as long as visa applications are truthful, though operators and clients frequently skirt the edges of legality by coaching women to lie about their intentions to immigration officials. Federal raids, such as those in California in 2015 targeting 20 locations, have exposed visa fraud and conspiracy, leading to charges against operators but rarely the mothers themselves, who are often treated as victims rather than perpetrators.
Trump and his team need to pinpoint their attention on the birthing fraudsters — including the mothers, the companies who help them, and the scum who hand out visas like its Halloween candy. In the same way Elon Musk and DOGE shined a light on the fraud at USAID, they must do the same on the birthing hotels and ending the visas that empower women to utilize them.
It can be done, easily, it merely takes the will to get it done. Otherwise, you and I can guarantee ourselves a future that includes foreigners who have an allegiance to their home countries (i.e. Russia and China), but dominate our government via manipulated elections. Do you want a governor who is holding a dual citizenship with China and the United States? Do you want a senator who grew up in Putin’s Russia but is technically a U.S. citizen? Do you want a president, who has been groomed by the Chinese communists, with the intent of ruling America as if it was controlled by Beijing? Of course not, but if we do not stop this scam you can mark my word: It’s coming soon!
The Left argues that these women are not breaking laws by giving birth in the U.S., and their cash payments bolster local economies, particularly hospitals and real estate markets. Smart people like me, however, view it as a scam and outright abuse of the 14th Amendment. It’s also a strain on public resources when these children later return to claim benefits like education or welfare. More dangerously, as noted, mark my word, these kids are indoctrinated back in China and Russia to hate America before returning here. And I repeat my warning, at some point in the next ten to thirty years, there will be a U.S. presidential candidate who stems back to these hotels, and their intentions will not be good.
Estimates suggest that tens of thousands of babies are born to foreign nationals annually through birth tourism, though exact numbers are elusive due to the industry’s shadowy nature. The U.S. State Department in 2020 slightly tightened visa rules in an attempt to curb the practice, allowing consular officers to deny the visas if they suspect the primary purpose is childbirth for citizenship. Yet, many of the consular officers are paid under the table to look the other way. And so enforcement remains inconsistent, and the industry adapts by relocating or operating more discreetly, perpetuating a cat-and-mouse game with the handful of authorities who actually try to stop it. Trump must take this issue as seriously as he has the open border, otherwise your retirement, much like your country, is at risk.
