47 Report: Day 31
Trump and Musk Make Huge Revelations
TODAY’S BIG STORY…
Last night, President Trump and Elon Musk sat with Fox News’ Sean Hannity in a joint interview to discuss topics like the president’s desire to shrink the U.S. government; DOGE’s role in exposing the fraudulent and wasteful spending by D.C. agencies; and Musk’s proposal of giving a $5,000 tax refund to every American taxpayer. However, the big takeaway was the deep appreciation and respect shared between the two men.
Trump praised Musk’s kindness, genius, creativity, and love of country. The president said Americans are extremely fortunate to have Elon involved in DOGE. In return, Musk praised Trump’s leadership, business expertise, and seasoned wisdom. He highlighted their mutual respect and shared vision for America's future, emphasizing their joint efforts to promote innovation and economic growth. "I love the president; he's a good man,” said Musk. “The media’s attacks on him are outrageous. I’ve spent so much time with him—never once have I seen him be mean or cruel."
Musk also said he didn’t realize “Trump Derangement Syndrome” was real until witnessing it at a friend’s dinner party before the 2024 election. Musk described guests irrationally reacting as if “shot with a dart containing methamphetamine and rabies” at the mere mention of Trump’s name.
AND HERE’S ANOTHER GREAT STORY…
President Trump amplified his tariff threats to rework the global economy in America’s favor, and he dismissed warnings about a trade war from left-leaning economists at a press conference Tuesday. Trump seeks to impose 25% tariffs on foreign cars, semiconductor chips, and pharmaceuticals entering the country.
Trump said he would likely announce the 25% tariffs on April 2, and suggested he may impose even higher rates on semiconductors and pharmaceuticals over the course of the year. The increases are designed to attract manufacturers to the U.S., where no tariffs apply if they produce their goods domestically.
MY OPINION…
The partnership between Musk and Trump is better than that of Batman and Robin. And the best part is this: this new dynamic duo is only one month into a 48-month gig. Moreover, Musk hit the nail on the head: the Left will hate Trump no matter what. Trump can solve world hunger tomorrow and yet, the Left will say he picked the wrong food. Trump could fund the cure to cancer and yet, the Left would say he stole the money. Trump derangement syndrome is a real thing — and as I always say on the DML NEWS Podcast — it’s because liberalism is a real mental disorder.

Trump signed an order intended to align federal agencies more closely with the president's agenda, asserting a need for transparency and control over agencies like the FTC, SEC, and independent bodies such as the FCC. The new order seeks to 'reign in independent agencies' by seizing various departments that normally act in accordance with Congress and bring them under control of the executive branch in the White House. Trump officials claim that Article II of the U.S. Constitution, which delineates presidential powers, gives the president sole authority over all the executive branch's officials and employees.
A federal judge declined to grant a request by 14 state attorneys general to temporarily bar DOGE from accessing data at seven federal agencies and moving forward with efforts to minimize the federal workforce. The White House’s Stephen Miller clashed with CNN’s Brianna Keilar over DOGE investigations. Trump officials are investigating Chinese money brokers who are part of an underground banking system. The brokers are teaming up with Mexican cartels to launder money from the fentanyl trade in the U.S. By means of using a third-party individual to collect drug profits from dealers, the brokers then resell the drug money to Chinese immigrants living in the states. The immigrants then use the laundered cash to buy property in the U.S.

Vance wrote, “Let's all say a prayer for Pope Francis, who appears to have some serious health issues.” The well-wish comes despite the Pope’s harsh criticism of the Trump administration’s immigration policies.
CONGRESS…

Left-wing billionaires, including George Soros, Gov. J.B. Pritzker, and Reid Hoffman, are pouring millions into Wisconsin’s crucial Supreme Court race ahead of the April 1 election. Their contributions made up over 40% of the $4.2 million raised by the Wisconsin Democratic Party. The race could shift the court’s balance, allowing Democrats to redraw legislative maps and potentially cost Republicans two critical U.S. House seats.
Two transgender girls appeared on MSNBC, where guest host Paola Ramos praised their courage in opposing Trump's efforts to bar men from competing in women's sports. Trump’s executive order mandates federal agencies to withhold funding from schools that don’t protect female athletics and locker rooms.
Ex-MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan received backlash for his post about a plane crash in Georgia that killed two. It read, “Make American Planes Crash Again.” Stating it was meant to mock Trump’s slogan amid recent crashes, he deleted it.
