MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN…

Secretary of State Marco Rubio, national-security adviser Mike Waltz, and Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff met in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia before Tuesday's talks with Russian officials to further the discussions of ending the war with Ukraine.

Seemingly caught off guard by President Trump’s move to facilitate the end of the war, French President Macron convened Europe’s own emergency meeting with European leaders. Ukrainian President Zelensky also admitted he was unaware of the apparent peace talks until they were publicly announced, indicating the negotiators do not feel Ukraine’s presence through envoys is required to attempt a compromise. This also comes after Zelensky rejected Trump’s offer to exchange rare earth minerals found in Ukraine for U.S. funds.

AND HERE’S ANOTHER GREAT STORY…

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has announced that approximately $4.7 trillion in U.S. Treasury payments lacked the necessary Treasury Access Symbol (TAS) for proper traceability.

DOGE wrote on X, “The Treasury Access Symbol (TAS) is an identification code linking a Treasury payment to a budget line item (standard financial process). In the Federal Government, the TAS field was optional for $4.7 Trillion in payments and was often left blank, making traceability almost impossible. As of Saturday, this is now a required field, increasing insight into where money is actually going.”

In other DOGE news, Elon Musk hinted at DOGE investigating Fort Knox, the infamous U.S. gold reserve, after Sen. Rand Paul encouraged him to do so. This also comes after Sen. Mike Lee revealed he has been repeatedly denied visitation at Fort Knox despite never receiving a formal excuse from authorities for the denial. The fortified Army installation in Kentucky is one of the most well-guarded military sites in the country. It does NOT require a yearly audit of its 147.3 million troy ounces (about 4,582 metric tons) of gold. Fort Knox has NOT had a formal audit of its gold reserves since 1953.

MY OPINION…

I think Russia’s game plan is to work with Trump to resolve the war because Putin will do anything to prevent Ukraine from becoming a part of NATO. Putin also knows that Trump doesn’t want to be in the business of having to defend Ukraine, so the Russian leader has some leverage. With this said, Trump wants to be credited with ending the war. Knowing this, Putin is going to demand he gets something big in return. Reason being, Putin won’t withdraw from Ukraine just because Trump says so — Putin will look weak if he did. Thus, be prepared for Trump to offer a major concession of some kind, and although I do not know what it will be, I do know the European nations will not like it.

As for the $4.7T that was allowed to be spent without traceability, I am tired of paying my “fair share” every April 15 so the slime balls operating the US government can line their own pockets. I am waiting for the one person with tremendous clout to suggest people boycott taxes. It’s coming, soon, I just wonder who it will be. Maybe Elon?

THE ADMINISTRATION…

  • President Trump tweeted an explanation of his new trade policy focusing on implementing reciprocal tariffs. Under this policy, tariffs will be applied to other countries that are equivalent to what they impose on the United States.

  • Trump has nominated interim U.S. Attorney Ed Martin, a Stop the Steal organizer, as D.C.’s top prosecutor. Calling him "highly respected," Trump praised Martin’s efforts to restore "Law and Order" in the capital.

  • The Trump administration confirmed it has reversed the layoffs of hundreds of federal employees working on the nation's nuclear weapons programs.

  • The acting Social Security chief, Michelle King, resigned after clashing with Elon Musk’s DOGE over access to sensitive records. In response, Trump appointed Leland Dudek as interim head while nominee Frank Bisignano awaits Senate approval.

  • DOGE discovered that there are 394 million Social Security recipients in the U.S., despite the country having only 334 million citizens, a discrepancy of more than 60 million.

  • DOGE has announced savings of approximately $55 billion since its inception.

  • Russia has freed a second American detained on drug charges, just days after releasing teacher Marc Fogel following Trump-led negotiations. Kalob Wayne Byers was arrested with his Russian fiancée at Moscow’s Vnukovo airport on February 7 for carrying cannabis gummies, which he used to treat epilepsy. Facing a possible 10-year sentence, Byers was released and placed in U.S. embassy custody.

  • China accused the U.S. of a “serious regression” after the State Department removed “we do not support Taiwan independence” from its website. The change in a fact sheet on U.S.-Taiwan relations sparked Beijing’s anger and strongly worded retort from a ministry spokeswoman.

  • Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has appointed investigators to examine the failed Afghanistan withdrawal.

  • Hegseth suggested Monday that he was a target of political warfare when he posted on X the audit notice he received from the IRS just prior to Biden leaving office.

  • Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy confirmed that a SpaceX team visited the FAA’s Air Traffic Control System Command Center in Virginia to help modernize and improve safety.

  • HHS leader Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says he will investigate any potential threat posed by the prescription of SSRIs, which is a class of antidepressant medication commonly used to treat depression, anxiety disorders, and some other mental health conditions.

  • A Federal District Court judge in Washington declined to bar DOGE from gaining access to the Education Department’s data systems

  • Trump officials reformed the 2008 Unaccompanied Alien Children program to curb migrant smuggling by traffickers and illegal parents. The Immigration Accountability Project hailed it as a major win, reducing the risk of children falling into labor or sex trafficking.

  • The Mexican government approved the entry of members of the U.S. Army’s 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) into the country starting this week as part of a mission to train the Mexican Navy to fight against the drug cartels.

  • A San Diego migrant shelter run by Jewish Family Service is closing after six years, laying off 115 employees due to the Trump administration’s policy changes. The NGO cited the halt of new asylum arrivals since the CBP One app outage on Jan. 20.

  • A government watchdog group reports an office within Biden’s HHS spent $22 billion on migrants over the last few years. According to the report, money went toward buying cars, homes, business loans of up to $15,000 and loans to repair credit scores.

  • Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem has announced a multimillion-dollar ad campaign aimed at deterring illegal immigration. The campaign warns those in the country illegally to leave or face deportation with a ban on returning to the U.S.

  • Border Czar Tom Homan said in the last 24 hours, Border Patrol agents only encountered 229 people at the southern border, which sometimes was as high as 11,000 people during the Biden days. He also noted: “Interior arrests by ICE have increased more than 137% under President Trump. Arrests of aliens with criminal convictions have doubled under President Trump. The arrests of illegal alien gang members has also doubled.”

VICE PRESIDENT…

J.D. Vance sparred with former MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan over free speech issues in a viral exchange on X. The conflict arose from the White House's decision to limit access for Associated Press journalists due to a naming disagreement over the 'Gulf of America'. Vance dismissed Hasan's comparison of this action to more severe free speech restrictions in Europe by calling him a 'dummy'.

CONGRESS…

Republicans are reportedly split over Elon Musk’s role in Trump’s push to shrink the government. While Senate Majority Leader John Thune defends Musk’s involvement, DC insiders claim others feel threatened by Musk’s moves to slash wasteful spending.

Congressman Eli Crane and the House Oversight Committee have highlighted that a significant amount of taxpayer funds, reportedly $241 million, were allocated to research involving transgender surgeries and treatments on animals.

Senator Lindsey Graham has openly advocated for military strikes against Iran's nuclear facilities over diplomatic negotiations.

Republican lawmaker Tim Burchett says he thinks there’s a “paper trail” of money that was sent overseas that ended up back in the pockets of lawmakers in Washington D.C. He said there will soon be a lot of retirements.

A House Democrat’s attempt to oppose a border enforcement bill backfired when dozens of Democrats voted in favor. House Resolution 35 criminalizes fleeing law enforcement within 100 miles of the border. Convictions could lead to up to two years in prison, with life sentences for cases resulting in death. Illegal alien offenders would also be subject to deportation.

Democrat lawmaker Eric Swalwell falsely claimed Trump had more plane crashes in his first month than any other president, a statement easily debunked by NTSB data. Reacting to a Georgia plane crash that killed two, Swalwell blamed Trump, despite records showing 55 U.S. plane accidents—24 involving injuries or deaths—happened during Biden’s first month in office.

Liberal Senator Richard Blumenthal dismissed Trump’s plan for a U.S. takeover of Gaza as a “nonstarter” and a “hot mess.”

Wisconsin's April 1 state Supreme Court election could shape both state and national politics. With Justice Ann Walsh Bradley retiring, conservatives aim to regain control. At the same time, Democrats see an opportunity to redraw legislative maps, potentially flipping two U.S. House seats and threatening the GOP’s slim majority. A Democratic win would secure court control and set the stage for redistricting that could shift the U.S. House, potentially spelling trouble for Trump's agenda.

THE CRAZY LEFT…

CBS News has seemingly endorsed European censorship in a new 60 Minutes documentary. The segment praises Germany’s crackdown on so-called “hate speech,” showcasing police raiding a home at 6:00 AM and seizing a resident’s materials for posting a “racist” cartoon online.

Thousands protested nationwide on Presidents’ Day against Trump and Elon Musk in a demonstration called “No Kings Day.” Major cities like DC, New York, Orlando, Seattle, and Boston saw large turnouts. In New York, the Rise and Resist activist group carried signs for various liberal causes and chanted slogans like “No one voted for Elon Musk” and “People over billionaires.”

A new report reveals Biden spent 39% of his presidency—577 of 1,463 days—on vacation. According to RNC data, the average American would need 52 years to match Biden’s time off.

The Seattle Times published an report urging the public to record and report ICE activity but advised against sharing it on social media. Instead, it provided instructions on documenting ICE actions and reporting them to the "Deportation Defense Hotline."

Boston Police Commissioner Michael Cox, appointed by Mayor Michelle Wu, affirmed the city's stance against enforcing the Trump administration’s deportations. Cox stated that Boston police will not enforce ICE civil immigration detainers, citing state and city laws that limit their authority over federal immigration matters.

FEMA, meant for disaster relief, saw hundreds of millions redirected by the Biden administration to organizations aiding illegal aliens with housing and services. of the NGOs and local governments who received massive amounts of tax-payer dollars from FEMA in Fiscal Year 2024 is shockingly jaw-dropping.

Tom Hanks faced immense backlash for his portrayal of a fictional racist on SNL's 50th anniversary special, with some calling him “out of touch.” Reviving his 2016 character "Doug," a clueless MAGA hat-wearing contestant on Black Jeopardy, Hanks' character refused to shake hands with an African-American host played by Kenan Thompson.

Progressive Washington state lawmakers have introduced House Bill 1938 to consider removing George Washington from the state flag. The bill proposes a committee to design a flag that "better reflects the diversity and values of all Washingtonians."

The AP published an article that quoted a fired government worker who claimed that the "official DOGE Facebook account" harassed them before firing them. There’s just one problem: DOGE doesn’t operate a Facebook account.

An NBC senior correspondent blamed Trump and his layoffs at the FAA for the commercial airplane that flipped upside down on a runway in Canada Monday amid snowy conditions. The FAA doesn’t control Canada’s airports.
